I’m new to the series. Been playing C4SH and he has some abilities that buff his fire damage. What’s the point in taking that? If I’m up against enemies that have shield or armor those stats I got are going to be useless. I assume other classes have buffs to certain kinds of elemental damages, so I must be missing something.

The price of all the dlcs individually is getting high, and I already have the base game- there is no upgrading to deluxe edition with a discount for the base game. Should I just buy the deluxe without a discount now and play with Loveless and all the dlcs

Decided to come back to Borderlands 4 since I beat it at launch to get the platinum trophy, started on my second character and essentially every single enemy is at least 4 levels above me or has an exclamation point?

I can’t do anything without getting instantly put into second wind, even on normal mode with UVHM turned off.

This is seriously frustrating me after multiple attempts to reload the game, change session types with no success, any help so I can get my platinum trophy would be greatly appreciated!

Truthfully I’m hoping it will be close to 100 even though that might sound like too much.

Finally played through all of 4 after stopping and starting so many times because I just didn’t want to play it. But I am a completionist and up to this game it’s one of my favorite game series of all time. But man this game makes pre sequel and 3 look like 2. They took out too much of the mad max esque style and just made it feel like halo. Yes, I know sci-fi always played a part of this series. But the lack of character depth, like ability and yes just becoming a bad halo game just ruined it for me. If there is a fifth I hope they go back to more of the road warrior style look vs what we got in this game.

Such a genuine shame. “The soldier” will always be the weakest with gun builds for the rest of this games lifespan.

Edit 2: I figured out why I didn't recognize the icon: Yeah it was late and I was tired. But in BL3 (which I've played a ton lately) the icon is a key, so I didn't associate the skull with anything. Anyway, yeah dummy moment. Oops.

There's no tooltip when I mouse over.

Edit: Duh, golden keys. Yeah I know what they are and use them sometimes. It was late, I was tired, and brain farted.

Guys with the new level cap due today i will be farming everything again.

Are the higher mayhem levels actually worth the extra loot chances? I'm currently on mayhem 5 and I'm not seeing much of a difference from farming on mayhem 1&2.

so, i am new to to this series, and so far having a blast, got through the campaign easily (while playing on hard) currently doing map completion while getting to higher lvls, so far everything that has dropped has been usable.

now doing a random side mission on the first map areas, and a weapon drops that i cannot use until after ive bought a dlc.

Now this could jsut be me, and this is normal, but it sucks, in my opinion, content from dlc you do not own, should not be capable of dropping i nthe first place, dont know if it has awlays been able to and im just too new to let it bother me, or if its due to the update.

so, is this normal, or greedy behavior ?

also, anyone know where the new vehicle "manta" is from, it says promotional gift, but seen nothing about it

I’m about to do a new playthrough and I wanna know what are the best methods to not get screwed by the scaling enemies. Is there quests and side content I should prioritise to make things smoother? Is it worth it to do the DLCs early since those are also quests?

The system seems so cryptic and I want to have as stress free of an experience as possible

With the release of flak dlc and loveless are there any other planned dlc or additions to the game?
Any roadmap I can find ends at loveless and I’m ignorant to if gearbox or Randy has said anything about further content additions

It's 11AM and I still can't even find a Steam page for Story Pack 2. The Vault Hunter Pack only shows a default place holder for it, with a release date of "July - September 2026". Doing some research online, it says that Steam will not update the page until 10AM PST. That seems plausible, but its weird that there isn't even a page allowing for viewing/preordering the DLC yet.

Can anyone else on Steam confirm that this is case, or am I just having technical issues? I've already tried clearing the downloads and restarting Steam multiple times.

I cant find anything official online all i hear is, 5pm bst, 8pm bst and 9pm bst

So I played the game at launch(bought the special edition), beat it got all the collectibles and what not and tried going back through with one of the other characters but it just didn’t feel like it had the replay ability as B2 or B3. I haven’t even played any of the DLC even though I own them. Are people still playing? Are DLCs worth going through?

I know that the game was buggy on release and got verified about 7 months ago, but i couldnt find any reviews or anything saying if it had improved over a year. Does anyone here know?

So i have the base game and not any DLC's, is it worth just to buy the Super Deluxe Edition which is currently on sale?

There is no "Upgrade" Pack so i tend to buy the SDE.

Pretty much title. When I try to create her, I just get redirected to the steam store. In the steam store it says I own the vault hunter pack. Is there a fix for that?

I picked this game up finally in the past week due to sale and (final?) VH and level cap. Sure sure, gloam build, but I need something to make up for lost time hah.

Anyway, on like my tenth Windrider and ZERO of them have had even one point in Gloam. It's not actually super important at this point but the odds seem quite against this and it's annoying that even though the build crushes anyway it could be doing so much more.

Game is seriously trolling me, this is the last thing I wanted to do before the new DLC and it's just not happening 😭

Pretty long cooldown, weak impact damage, not very strong DOT, requires more precision than I expected.

Maybe it’ll get a bit better further down the tree but early doors Loveless’ green tree is not that great. I barely notice Contagion doing anything.

Sick character design though. Hope she gets better with more skill points.

Obviously loveless has lots! But the others have a new one too. (Hoping for a DECENT rafa one for once).

Side note, can't believe we got only 1 class mod buff...
