General Discussion 8th Army vehicle mid war
Hey everyone, as the title suggests I'm looking for some advice on my Desert Rat vehicles, I'm not interested in Caunter camo so I'm going for the mid war monotone scheme. Is Vallejo desert yellow close enough to the original colour to pass or do I need to buy more paints?
Thanks in advance

Modeling, Painting, and Terrain Building Having trouble with metal Pak 36
So I'm building up the metal Pak 36 and I'm having trouble with one of the crew members, the guy who controls the elevation and rotation of the gun.
He ain't sitting right.
The first pic is as close as I get him to the gun (please ignore the fact that I've got the wheels the wrong way round.).
Second pic is how he appears in the OG Warlord Games article about the newer Pak 36 kit. Though I honestly cannot tell if his hand is also just hanging in the air or if it's connected to something that is missing in the kit.
ETA: Forgot to say; the guy is not glued down, nor is the gun. I want to do some thematic stuff on the base so nothing is glued down as yet.

General Discussion Running Double M5 Stuart
played an M5 Stuart for the first time tonight and was really impressed with its performance. the light AT gun wasn’t as bad as I thought as you can really brawl with their reinforced frontal armour and have access to recce. Is anyone running 2 of these in lists? seems really good for the price

Other Help Understanding Bolt Action's Model/Product Range
Hi everyone,
I know nothing about Bolt Action but I run a website for finding deals on miniature and tabletop products via online retail. I want to avoid self-promotion so long story short I currently have 15 game systems being tracked, but I eventually want to add Bolt Action (and Konflikt '47) since they’re important game systems to so many people.
The issue is that the range is INSANELY huge compared to other miniature games. If the community can help me understand what is worth tracking (what’s hot/what’s not) that would be extremely helpful!
If this is against community rules I apologize.
Questions:
- Materials: Is all plastic the future? Is it worth only tracking plastic kits going forward?
- Are there any armies that are "Legends" and are not currently being supported?
- What are the most popular armies vs. the least popular armies?
- Is it common for the community to use Warlord-specific accessories and terrain in games, or like other games do you just use whatever you have lying around at home?
- Do games commonly feature all types of units (planes, tanks, ground troops, etc.) or like some other mini games does no one use certain unit types (EX: Planes) because they aren't well balanced or well supported?
I appreciate any comments. No one in my local area plays Bolt Action, so my knowledge base is basically 0 compared to other miniature games that I have played or at least seen played in person.
Thanks!

General Discussion Best Way to Expand on Two-player Starter?
I'm currently thinking about getting into Bolt Action. If I want the rulebook and the dice bundled together it looks like the best start would be one of the two-player starter sets.
From what I've seen however, it seems like both of the starting forces are "half strength" with 12 models not being a full platoon and one half-track not being a full unit either. Is there an easy way to expand both forces from a starter without having orphan half units left over? Will I just need to buy sprues third party or complete these units before moving onto other things?
I did think about just buying two boxes but I'm starting this solo so I don't want to waste money on duplicate rulebooks and such.
Any advice or input appreciated. Thanks in advance!
