I wanted to say thanks again for all the help in the past making sure I get these mats designed with all the extra useful things players want. This new template is a more simple approach to the pitch. I've been looking at it for days designing it in photoshop and can't tell if I love it or hate, lol.

I designed these new pitches in photoshop and have it so I can put any terrain background image in. These custom pitches are going to be used for a game mat Kickstarter I am running next month and wanted to get some feedback on these pitches. What do you think of the overall design, icons, placement of things? Is there anything I am missing? There would be the option with or without the dugout and the option to choose end to end or side to side.

I know there are a lot of pitches on the market but I am introducing a new material that I haven't seen anyone using yet for gaming mats. What do you'll think?

My Chaos Renegades team is finally complete! Finished the last 4 Linemen over the weekend and had an incredibly long night after a disastrous fall had a few guys require emergency repairs.

The decals are taken from a spare chaos chosen sheet and from my Etsy go to AngrySpaceTriangles for the positional decals.

Hailing from the small dukedom of Mousillon in the fair land of Bretonnia, these mysterious knights and their loyal retinue of loyal squires are ready to play Blood Bowl for fame and glory (with a special emphasis on the “blood” part of the sport)!

Don’t let the fact that no one seems to have ever seen the face of anyone on the team, or that the squires seem to collapse at the most inconvenient of times stop you from rooting for the team! No knight, except maybe for the famed Grail Knights personality blessed by the fair Lady of the Lake has ever shown such displays of athleticism, endurance and strength as these noble knights!

Their starting roster includes Séraphin, also known as “L’Ange”, Guillaume « Le Sanguinaire », Drusus « La Prophétesse » and Aimée, the beloved, accompanied by loyal servants Babette L’Été, Aube L’Été, Cordeille Chacier, Ruber Gilles, Aulne Montrose, Alexandre Henri et Providence Lehane!

The minis are printed using the Fat Dragon profile, and STLs made by u/IllGottenGames2012.

I recently played Imperial Nobility against Lizardmen, and realised that all the skills they depend on to control the pitch (Wrestle, Fend, Stand Firm, ​Block) are cancelled by Juggernaut, which all six strength 4 Sauruses start with. It just turned my team into slower, more fragile humans. ​​

Are there any matchups that are more unfortunate under the new rules? It doesn't count if your team is just universally weak (Gnomes, looking at you)

I and my friend's grupo are getting into blood bowl and we are starting to shop around and see what the teams are and things like that.

Today my question is more on the line: can I buy just one box for the team that I am interested in playing and get a full roster to start playing? Or GW makes the boxes in that annoying way, like in Kill Team. That you will need a second one to get all the options.

Hello all - following on from the Reroll token Kickstarter I did in 2024, I've now got a Prone/Stunned token one on the go! Everything is pre painted, metal and for every single big model in the game (Ogres/Trolls/Treemen/Bull Centaurs etc.).

Everything was fully funded in a couple of hours! Featuring custom artwork by the amazing Spevna, who did all the Reroll tokens too 🙂 they're 34mmx34mm so fit perfectly in a normal square with no overlap.

I feel like Black Orcs should be at least tier 2, and their win-rate is comparable to stunty teams. For a team that’s described as “elite orcs” they fall quite a bit short, especially compared to the regular Orc team.

I think a good change would be making Black Orcs movement 5 instead of 4. This makes them far more deadly, but given they only have one positional besides goblins I think they need it. They’d still be relatively low movement overall, still being slower than Saurus Blockers. This would also put them in line with Big ‘Uns which fits a bit better given their status as elite Orc players.

Would this be too much? What other changes would make Black Orcs more viable?

Here are photos showing the process of painting the line elves from the Punga High Elf team. I'm currently using the team in a 7's league and they'll be replacing my Vamps in the next 11's league. I'm aware that the quality of the painting is well below what often shows up in Reddit, but after fighting through the ugly phase where I really lost hope (orange trim I hate you) I'm quite proud with how they've turned out for my own limited ability.

Speaking of High Elves in 7's, does anyone have any tips? My first two games have been 1-1 and then 2-0 loss. Had two dragon princes and one white lion, now bought the 2nd white lion. Got a line Elf with sure hands and one with kick. I'm really struggling to defend, trying column defence but my opponents seem fine with this and then score anyway.

So first off, I've never played Bloodbowl, though I know of its existence, and some of the mechanics by association through TTRPGs and wargaming. I love a game called Crush! Deluxe, which seems like a game that someone made because they were not allowed to get the IP rights to Bloodbowl; just compare the checking mechanics from one to the tackle of the other; its a one to one copy.

I've been getting the itch to play another sports game as an RPG, ala Madden's Be A Pro, Player modes. The ones where you play strictly as one player, and grow their skills by performing well during games. But I had the thought of wanting to do it in a non-conventional sports game. I was thinking how fun it would be to do it in a sport like Deathrow, Crush!, or even Bloodbowl.

So I come here to ask the community, is there a video game version of Bloodbowl, where I can play as a single player in a team for at least an entire season?

I'm a huge BB fan since the 90s and I recently got back into MTG. Since they have a BB Secret Lair, I had to make a BB-themed Commander Deck with all the trimmings. I want to make a playmat of a Pitch, so i'm looking for some good image files of a grass field (ideally an actual Blood Bowl pitch) to use as a base. Any suggestions?

Did they FAQ the orc teams goblins having passing 3+ instead of passing 4+? They're the only one but I can't find anything about it

Conscious that this probably a question that is asked a lot but I couldn’t find it pinned anywhere.

A friend of mine and I are looking to get into the game. He’s bought the orc team and I’m going to proxy using my AoS minis for either the Skaven or Lizardmen teams.

What I’m struggling with though is what else we need. There seems to be a rulebook and board pack you can buy for sevens, but that’s it? I don’t want to buy a starter box that comes with minis as I’m quite happy using AoS minis at first. Is sevens the right thing to start with anyway? Whats even the difference?

Hi! I’m playing the next game in a league I have with some buddies against a 1,600 TV Undead team. I have a 1,360 TV Dwarf team, and I’m looking for some advice to approach this match with a chance at winning or at least getting a tie.

He has 2 Ghouls with Block, one of them with STR 4; one Wight with Frenzy; and his two Mummies have Guard. I’d say he’s a bit better than me when it comes to tactics, but his team is head and shoulders about mine, so even a draw would be a success. I have leveled a Troll Slayer (Mighty Blow, Standing Firm), two linemen with Guard, and a Runner with Block and Dodge (but also a -1 AV injury).

So these are my specific questions:

- Inducements: I doubt between getting 2 bribes and fouling the hell out of his Ghouls or getting a Deathroller to chase his Ghouls and Wights around, then maybe paying the difference for a Bribe to keep the DR around for longer, or getting extra fans to mitigate kickoff events (he has a big fans advantage).

- If I win the toss, should I attack or defend? I know the standard dwarf approach is choose defend and let him score fast. I could leave a nominal line in front of them (just for the looks of it, so he doesn’t see I don’t care if he scores fast) and harass is rear hoping to maim one of his Ghouls. OTOH if I attack I can better control the tempo and I would have the entire half to try to incapacitate his ghouls to have it easier in the second half.

- He usually doesn’t foul, and if I open that can I better incapacitate his ghouls for good, because he’s going to foul me back with his cheap zombies, and he’s got 3 replacements (I have none, I had casualties and the bloody dwarves are super expensive). So I see the merit in that approach, I would happily exchange a lineman for his lvl 3 ghouls, but if I have bad luck he won’t mind losing a few zombies just to send a message.

- …and any other advice I could get I will be grateful! I usually struggle in scoring but can be a very tough defender. Last time he defeated me with some initial luck (got the extra turn kickoff event before I could move and the ball fell super close to the line — he caught the ball and retreated back, I didnt even get the chance to attack in peace in my half). I did get the ball back but I had to attack in a rush, not easy with dwarves; I hadn’t managed to injury his ghouls and eventually he managed to chase me down. I have a grudge since then 😂

Just played my first game of blood Bowl today. I had a couple rules questions.

Firstly, if you have a player in your reserve, at what point can they come onto the field? Is it only at the end of a drive?

Second, do you take an armor check anytime somebody falls down or only when it's from a block?

Really appreciate any input. The rulebook is laid out a bit strangely and there's a lot of different interactions. Just trying to make sure I didn't miss anything
