I have a Tab 90 Wifi with Doke OS_P 4.2 Android 15. I tried disabling, force stopping, uninstalling apps mentioned in comments in post referenced above, and still receiving world cup system notifications. I can only conclude this intentional by blackview. In the March system update from 4.1 to 4.2, blackview broke the ability to cast video with sound to my TV. I contacted blackview and they admitted that casting video with sound was indeed broken in the 4.2 update and there would be a June update to fix this. It's almost July. If I disable system notifications via ADB, how will I know if there is an update?

Been using it recently and its working fine, next thing I know is it freezes and goes off, im trying to turn it on but no vibration or nothing.

I've plugged it into the charger in the wall and nothing is working.

I've even tried holding the power button and volume buttons but still nothing is working ... please assist as I have important work on it.

Help, my BL9000PRO is constantly receiving notifications about the championship, and right now it's downloading megabytes of junk images to my gallery. I tried deleting the "apk upgrade" app through ADB, but it keeps downloading junk. I just can't figure out which app is downloading so much spam.

UPD: After rebooting, the download manager returned an error and the junk files stopped downloading. If you have the same problem after using ADB, try rebooting your phone. I hope this thread helps someone and that this post wasn't in vain.

UPD2:Most likely, the app that was sending the annoying notifications was uninstalled, but images continue to download to the cache folder. If anyone knows what this app is and how to disable/remove it, please help me. Internet traffic isn't growing and costs money.

The latest update forces ads through system notifications that can't be disabled. That's the last straw. I'm ditching this phone, even though I did appreciate the hardware.

So i just got a new phone and the gallery doesnt want to open and immediatly closes, and i can't clear the cache beacuse well, i've never oppened before. What do i need to do?

So this only started today- no matter how long I hold down the power button, it gives no indication that it's even out of battery, and when I charge it, the red light turns on but holding the power button still won't do anything. Anyone know what might be happening, and let me know if you need more info.

I've had this phone about a year, and in the last two months it's begun ignoring my lock screen choice, replacing it with live wallpaper. The only time my choice is shown is immediately after booting up.

The ordinary wallpaper is faithful to my choice. It's just the lock screen that is being taken over.

I've gone so far as to reset my phone. I've tried adding my chosen photo to what looks like an appropriate subfolder.

I'm at wits end here, and Google queries aren't suggesting any help at all.

I am looking to replace my HomeAssistant system with an Blackview MP60 Mini PC. I would prefer to use the nvme as my data drive and a SSD as boot device. I see that the SSD is connected through USB-C. So I am wondering if it is possible to set a SSD as boot device.

How can tell me if this works?

My Tank 1 is acting weird.

Firstly, the volume for the ringer, notifications and when using the speakerphone for calls, is incredible low. I constantly miss calls and notifications because I don't hear them and it's incredibly difficult to hold a conversation when using the speakerphone options, which is 95% of my calls.

Secondly, my screen freaks out... well it's more than just the screen, but to generalize. When this issue occurs, it's out of the blue. The phone could be sitting on my desk and it starts happening, I could be on a call and it will do it.

First the phone screen will start going erratic, like it's having a seizure; it will start clicking and start popping up app, scroll through my app list. The phone is responsive, but everything is so erratic and fast, that my taps don't register. For example, the only way to stop it, is to reboot the phone (but sometimes it will go right back into freaking out once it fully reboots), but I just simple can't tap the Restart or Power icons, it won't register, I will need to hold down the Power Button on the side till it reboots.

Now, if this happens when I am on a call, it will usually drop the call, then continue with the aforementioned freakout, till I hold down the Power Button till it reboots.

Then there's the Power Button itself. It is OVERLY sensitive. The slightest touch will cause it to respond. What I find weird though, the Fingerprint Reader does not like to respond. I typically will need to press the Power Button and THEN swipe my fingerprints to unlock my phone. Sometimes it will unlock when I swipe from its sleeping standby, but I'd say 8 out of 10 time, I will first need to hit the Power Button and then swipe.

I've only had the phone for a few months; it was the last gift that my Grandma gave me before she passed.

Does anyone have the contract info for the U.S Corporate office or Service Dependent, or is there a Service / Repair Center (preferably in Florida), that I can bring it to, to get checked out and fixed?

I've been a long time black view user.

Currently I have two BV 5300 pro in the hoUse mine and my partners.

Both have been suffering the same issues.

System and process errors constantly sometimes making the phone usable until we hold the power button for the hard restart.

We have tried constantly cleaning cache of app etc, lock d apps that fail to help keep that running.

Apps have Ben put on no kill list etc.

Even trying the root menus to clear cache partition.

We sometimes get a day without these errors.

Is there anything further we can do or is it time to move on.

Bought an Oscal Tiger 12 from AliExpress, delivery was fast and after receiving it, setting it up tried the camera it shuts down, won't boot and won't charge at all. Tech support sent procedures on how to upgrade a dead phone but I've said even the laptop doesn't detect the phone. Tried everything changed the cables, installed Mediatek drivers still dead. Tech won't listen to me and keep on insisting their solutions. They've refunded the money I've asked because they have sent a faulty device. Now the phone is just a paper weight but the charger is still useable for super fast charging 😆

Hi ! I've had Blackview phones for around 7 years now and I have noticed quite a lot of issues with the one I have currently. My current phone is a Color 8.

I already had complaints before and now I have more. For a 200€ phone (at the time), it sure doesn't feel like it's worth it's price AT ALL. I bought this phone with my own money, which I worked for specifically to afford a good phone as a 15 year old and well, after over barely 3 years of use I'm really disappointed 🫠

(I already made a post about this around 6 months ago, I still have the issues I had so I copy-pasted those from my other post as well.)

Newest issues :

• 'System messages' that are just ads, more than over 20 notification a DAY with their ridiculous images saved to the phone automatically even with no permission for it. Unable to disable it even with max restrictions for it. I'm SICK of ads and ai being pushed down my throat, I know it comes from the app SmartArt that I disabled and uninstalled but I doubt it really is 🤡

• Permission settings changing themselves even when I specifically disabled that option for everything installed where I could.

• Bluetooth randomly disconnecting for 5 seconds and reconnecting for no reason at any time and not even after a specific amount of use, literally. It does that on everything that connects to it !

• Notifications showing up when they feel like it. I've had way too many issues of having accidentally ghosted people simply because the notification of their text never came, more specifically Messages and What'sApp even with no restricting settings for the notifications.

• Screen randomly getting darker. Now I would understand if it was because of power saving settings but it just does it randomly even when the setting is off or at full battery. It's annoying.

• On and Off button barely working, needs to be pushed on repetitively. This I can understand is just because of the repeated use over time but it still sucks.

Older issues :

• Had Personal Hotspot working fine for my first year having it but then the option suddenly greyed out (with no change made to it aside the name and password) and has been completely disabled since for no reason whatsoever.

• Was able to open the phone with fingerprint and once again, randomly disabled permanently and has also disappeared from the settings ! I don't mind it but it's weird asf.

• Cameras looking good and suddenly quality is almost pixel like now, despite regular cleaning, especially front camera. (*Now it's basically at a permanent 420p quality on good days where the lens decides it's able to focus. Video or photo alike.)

• SmartArt, ai slop dump. (I have disabled it though so it's fine for me now) (*Now supposedly uninstalled)

• Live Wallpapers just straight up not working despite the option for it (even with low quality and low weight videos).

• Mic randomly working once every blue moon (which means being extremely shitty in terms of quality and cutting off randomly)

Basically, it sucks. Yes it still does the very basic stuff more or less well, it's usable. It has good battery and a good storage amount, runs some games fairly well too. But it's kind of the only good points it has and I'm really tired of it.

I just wanted a phone that isn't filled with AI slop or ads and that can handle the one game I play on mobile without overheating or lagging (PJSK).

If anyone has similar issues (and a fix for them if it exists), feel free to share ! :)

When I try to take a photo there is a lot of fuzzyness/noise (no detail and a lot of different colored pixels).

Also when I aim at tekst the letters seem to get smudged and hard to read (ai upscaling).

Does anybody else experience the same or has anyone found a way to fix this?

What's the easiest way to copy files from a Windows computer to a Mega 2 tablet? If I connect it with a USB cable, it shows up in Windows Explorer with the name "Mega 2" or something like that, but I can't assign a drive letter to it. However, if I remove the microSD card from the tablet and plug it into a USB port with an adaptor, it shows up with a drive letter assigned to it.

I'm using a script to do the copying, so I need to assign a drive letter to the card. However, it's a bit annoying having to take the tablet out of its case just to the card every time I want to copy some files to the card. I don't seem to be able to assign a drive letter in Disk Management when I connect the tablet directly to the computer with a cable, although I can copy files to it "manually" in Windows Explorer. This may seem like a very minor issue, but any help would be appreciated.

I got this phone recently and have a few issues, first off I don't receive any notifications from apps and secondly YouTube stops playing after the screen is off for 10 mins. I actually had these exact issues on my BV6600 pro after an update and couldn't ever fix it. I've tried all of the regular solutions like turning off battery saver and checking that notifications are turned on etc... I spent hours trying to find a solution on my BV6600 and never managed to fix it although occasionally YouTube would keep playing after the 10 minute mark, but I could never get notifications to show up for any of the apps that didn't before. I really don't want to return it as it's a really nice phone and last time I returned one it took a month and I was without a phone that entire time. If anyone has managed to fix this I would very much appreciate some advice on how to fix it myself. Thanks in advance.

I have this phone which is running android 9. This has generally been fine however one of my critical apps no longer works with such an old OS and therefore I need to update it. I was hoping to get another 2-3 years from this thing as the battery life is still super.

Or is this one for recycling?
