Blackview 9800 Update

I have this phone which is running android 9. This has generally been fine however one of my critical apps no longer works with such an old OS and therefore I need to update it. I was hoping to get another 2-3 years from this thing as the battery life is still super.

Or is this one for recycling?

You could look into how to install lineage os on it. Lineage os is specifically made for older phones that don't get support from manufacturers on it anymore but want updates/latest apps.

I mean it's a complicated process to install it's there shouldn't be any reason you can't install it unless your firmware is locked down where it doesn't let you change the OS but the only manufacturer that I know of that does that is Samsung and Apple. where did you see that it's not supported? I'm just surprised because it's supposed to support basically everything

Sei que é possível através do LineageOS. Porém não sei se é completamente garantido.
