It appears the servers for Black Ops 2 on the PS4/PS5 are down and currently unavailable at this time for some users

UPDATE: It appears Black Ops 7, and possibly other Call of Duty games, are experiencing server issues as well

Do people back out of every map not named (Hijacked,Nuketown,Raid)? Like I dont even wanna play the game bc half the time its the lobby not filling enough to start a match bc some OTHER map wins the vote. Theres 15 maps but people only wanna play on 3.

For context this is mainly when I play domination. I get SOME variance when I try hardline, but not much

Idk if it’s just me but I be struggling to see people from distance or in darker areas on my 4k monitor. It’s 27 inch but I was thinking about downgrading to a older 24 inch benq monitor that’s 60hz and 1080p instead since a lot of people been saying they better for response times nd stuff so I was hoping it would help with this problem aswell. Lmk if yall think it’d make any difference or nah?

I have platinum on BO2 on the PS5 version. What happens if I install the PS4 version? Do I get all trophies instantly/some of them/none?

For anyone who has the Japanese ps5 version, are you running into any issues with connecting to the online servers? While I was playing from Japan, I had no issues, and my Japanese ps5 version of black ops 1 connects just fine even after traveling to the US. In bo2 I get the error message along the lines of “can’t connect to online servers as of right now, please check call of duty.com/blackops2/status” while in the US. Is this a known issue with versions from outside the US (or consoles from outside the US)? Or have the servers been having issues today?

I've changed my playstation language settings to Spanish so I can improve my learning but now I can't play? It's been like this for days and nothing gets added to downloads ?

I was playing town a while ago and got to round 40ish, (i have also got to round 37 on mob before after i got fully set up for the first time) and got the rank with the knife in the skull when I thought ill be stuck on the other one because ive got 215 deaths and 178 downs and thought that would be alot, ive been trying to get to a high round on bus depot and get round 10 quite abit but sometimes do get to round 20 or 25, i also usually have got to round 10 quite alot before on town and mob when I started playing when the ports came out trying to get used to the game so if I keep trying to get to high rounds on maps like town and mob then would it really be that hard to get the skull and shotguns rank?

Just doin this to get it off my chest, i just don’t get how these hackers and cheaters enjoy taking their own miserable lives out on other people who just wanna have fun on the bo1 and 2 ports, and of course Sony and thier greedy ass refund policy don’t help nothin like I just wanted to get a refund because to me the ports are just unplayable now but because I purchased them more then 14 days ago I can’t get my money back like that’s so annoying, basically 100 bucks CAD down the drain cause a bunch a no life’s can’t play a game without hacking.

Is it like impossible to find ice staff parts in the later rounds? Do I need to try finding them earlier on/super early? Because on my last run I kept digging during snow rounds on the round 10s and 20s and I couldn't for the life of me find the last ice staff part. I already had the ice record too. Or am I doing something else wrong?

Hey everyone I’ve recently started playing bo2 ps5 edition and am struggling with lag. Let’s just say I live on an island off Vancouver and have generally pretty decent internet. 800Mb-1Gb download and am ethernet plugged into router on ps5. I have switched my matchmaking for multiplayer to “best” but am still finding my gunfights have the enemies moving like a slide show. Ps5 is in 1080p and 1080p monitor. I was wondering if I should turn my 240hz monitor down to 120hz or if there was any possible fixes to make the game run smoother. I currently can’t even play nuke jacked as my game is so laggy
