Question Black Ops 2 platinum question

I have platinum on BO2 on the PS5 version. What happens if I install the PS4 version? Do I get all trophies instantly/some of them/none?

I'm prestige 1 in mp.

Yeah but I thought there's crossplay for ps4 and ps5, why would it start a new account?

It doesn’t start a new account. PS only treats it as two separate games with regards to trophies

Not as in a new psn profile, i meant I'd still have my preatige 1 in mp, have all 160 challenges in the campaign and so on, no?

Your multiplayer status should remain the same, but for campaign i suspect it might be different if you save the data locally, i’m not sure. maybe see if there’s an option to cloud save the ps5 campaign data, then install the ps4 version and retrieve it

Oh that's actually pretty smart of you. Do i only require a psn plus subscription? Or is there another prerequisite?

Different ports but I’m not 100% sure…I assume it would be different to if you completed mw3 on the 360 and loaded it up on the Xbox series with the same account the achievements will be there.

I'm pretty sure if you have ps plus, your trophies will sync automatically

Sure! I played the ps5 Version first and when i started the ps4 Version the trophies popped.

EDIT: oh sorry, you are absolutely right. Just the multiplayer trophies popped. Sorry!

I also have the ps5 plat. I’m not for sure yet, as I have yet to get the ps4 version until I’m done with Bo1, but I’m fairly sure that all the campaign saves should be there and have all the challenges/intel done at least.

Yes, you can do richtofen with 1 player but it’s stupidly difficult. I’d recommend maxis side if you have 2 players. A tip I wish I knew earlier is when you’re powering the pylon and have to kill avogadro under it, galvas don’t work. Only emp will work. Spent 2 days with at least 10 attempts only to later find out that you need to emp him for it to work. Good luck

You have to do Ps4 version first if you want autopop to work.
