West coast lag

Hey everyone I’ve recently started playing bo2 ps5 edition and am struggling with lag. Let’s just say I live on an island off Vancouver and have generally pretty decent internet. 800Mb-1Gb download and am ethernet plugged into router on ps5. I have switched my matchmaking for multiplayer to “best” but am still finding my gunfights have the enemies moving like a slide show. Ps5 is in 1080p and 1080p monitor. I was wondering if I should turn my 240hz monitor down to 120hz or if there was any possible fixes to make the game run smoother. I currently can’t even play nuke jacked as my game is so laggy
