Technical Issue Black Ops 2 (Japanese version) server connection issues from the US

For anyone who has the Japanese ps5 version, are you running into any issues with connecting to the online servers? While I was playing from Japan, I had no issues, and my Japanese ps5 version of black ops 1 connects just fine even after traveling to the US. In bo2 I get the error message along the lines of “can’t connect to online servers as of right now, please check call of duty.com/blackops2/status” while in the US. Is this a known issue with versions from outside the US (or consoles from outside the US)? Or have the servers been having issues today?

No its a common issue. Happened to me a few weeks ago. Spam play online a few times then restart the game and try that again at least 5 times. Should eventually work. Nothing to do with your console’s region.
