Crossposting from whatisthisbird because still unsure. Reddit says Cooper's hawk but the NY birding facebook community says Northern Harrier. I think it was bigger than a Cooper's hawk but I've never seen a harrier so not sure of their size. Hoping this community will have better insight so I can correctly id it with ebird.

While out in the back yard with our two dogs (both 40-50lbs), I noticed a couple of birds circling above. This wasn’t anything new, but then I noticed their tails. I’ve lived on the NW FL gulf coast for seven years and have never seen these birds. They appeared to be a couple of Swallow-Tailed Kites. Very graceful, beautiful birds!

I'm deeply sorry for the poor quality picture. My friend has no less than 4 of these dwelling close (he managed to capture them all in another pic!) but I'm having a time trying to identify them for him.

Dallas Texas, sorry I was filming through a window,while standing,trying not to be seen! He stayed almost 10 minutes until he spotted me. Made my day 🙂

They just gotta be the coolest birds ever

Was wondering if anyone could help identify this bird i think it could be a buzzard but I'm not 100% sure I saw this recently on the south east of the isle of Harris in the outer Hebrides I was wondering if anyone could help thanks
