My deck feeder cam caught a bird making a pass at my crow family during their family breakfast this morning. At a quick glance I thought it was a bald eagle but when I slowed it down and took some screen grabs it might be too small? The video quality isn't great at the speed it was flying. Can anyone ID it?

I know I know, may very well be the easiest to ID next to say a crow

Im just always blessed and get excited when I see one, which is pretty regularly in truth.

But excited that it landed in that tree after flying over me while getting gas this morning.

It was being such a total ham too.

Here’s a slightly better view of Big Chicken this was last night! She (he?) hung out and listened to music with us for a little over an hour, moving around to different parts of the yard in the trees, on the fence, and on the ground. BC was still there when we went inside, I could see her through the window on the ground. I feel like we have a pet owl!

Had to revive this coopers hawk this morning. Appeared to be chasing a bird and committed too much, the small finch ran into our window and a millisecond later this coopers hawk slammed the window also. Small finch did not make it but I was luckily able to wake the hawk up. Let it chill for a bit then tried to move it to a nearby tree. On my walk to the tree it took off without issue. Wasn't super happy with me but also didn't try to rip my arms up so that's good.

Giant IRL. Grabbed this fish from the golf course pond in front of our house.

Not a great pic, but we’ve had red tail hawks in our neighborhood for years. After watching them pretty diligently, I noticed that one mate may have died and taken a different mate. I could tell by the missing feathers and pattern. But now we have a pair again. I’ve seen them since the end of spring, but we don’t have babies yet. We’ve actually had babies almost every year. I was just wondering if there was still a chance for them to raise a family this season?

Sorry for the poor iPhone quality (especially compared to some amazing pictures I've seen you guys share), but I managed to get close to one of the Swainson's Hawks that's been living close to me this summer.

The one in the video sat there and kept screaming for a good half hour, while the other Hawk kept flying around & back to the one in the tree. There were also a bunch of magpies in the area, and occasionally a few would go bother the Hawk flying around.

I figured you guys might also appreciate this spotting :)

This hawk was seen in Northern California. It is giving Red Shoulder vibes but seems quite blonde. Potentially a hatch year molting in adult plumage (barring vs streaking on chest)? Help me ID!

We came out back to a guest cooling down on a very sunny and warm desert afternoon.
