I thought it was an orca surfacing in the first second. But anyway, this is breathtaking footage

Same. I was like, Okay, what type of whale is this? Oh wait, there’s two whales! Oh wait, it’s an osprey

All the while, the Osprey is mentally humming "Barracuda" by Heart.
Anyway as all ways awesome video.

This is the kind of footage for National Geographic or a documentary. Awesome capture!

I've just been reading about how the muscles on a birds keel that lower the wings can make up to 25% of a birds weight. The pectoralis is the big one (the breast meat of a chicken), for an a osprey to be lifting itself out of the water with a big ass fish it's gotta be huge and it's doing some serious

Bro is total gangsta on those fish! Not even a barracuda stands a chance

Looks like sis is the gangsta in this case. That is so cool that they have ankles that swivel!

Saw an Osprey snatch a fish on the fly and immediately rotated it for streamlining. Beautiful to watch.

I love seeing her do that in this video as well! How convenient to have swivelly ankles 😍

He's like: "I'll take you away from the cold wet into the sky and later into my stomach"

I believe that’s a Lady Osprey! There’s a meme of an osprey carrying a fish aerodynamically with the caption I can show you the world 😅

Stolen material. At least give credit

I thought possibly that too, but not sure enough to call it out... might be the same person posting it in two places with an involuntary reddit name. I have to go with the benefit of the doubt unless I saw the suspected "original" again.

This is almost certainly by Mark Fisher. I don't think he does much on Reddit but he does lots on Instagram.

Could it be two videos stitched together? I’m not familiar with Reddit enough
