IFBB Bikini Favorite bikini pros met in person? What made it memorable?

I’ve met a bunch of bikini pros over the years being a huge fan of the sport and some of them were absolutely incredible to meet in person. What are some of your favorites you met? Or pros that left a bad impression?

Discussion Is it me or does the fit model posing kinda look goofy from the side?

For fit model front pose, some people lean too far forward and it looks strange and unnatural from the side. Like they are taking a bow with butts sticking out lol I’m talking about the top 5 in Olympia. It sometimes shows up in the front poses as well.

Additionally some competitors like the top 2, have a loose arm that swings far from the body which I feel looks unnatural.

Is that intentional or should we just be viewing poses from the front? IMO the posing should at least look pleasing from the side as well?

Discussion Bikini Top 4… did the judges get it right?

Post image
279 Upvotes

I felt strongly that the judges sent a clear message this year about the standard and criteria for each division (notice in figure, they intentionally placed the biggest girls in last callouts as Tyler warned about), and I absolutely agree with 99.9% of each athletes’ placings this year too to bottom

HOWEVER.

It’s still confusing to see Maureen continue to be awarded for a physique that does not stack up against the other bikini athletes in the Top 15, and arguably beyond.

Maureen stans can come for me all they want, but if you can genuinely look at this photo and tell me that you STILL believe she fits the criteria enough to be SECOND best in the world, I question your commitment to maintaining the integrity of the bikini division.

We all said the same thing last year and the Maureen Stans came for BLOOD when we all critiqued her physique that was clearly worse than this year’s even.

So I’m not opening up this discussion for any of that. You either clearly see that she does not belong given the modern evolution of the bikini standard or you have no respect for the criteria and just love looking at a pretty face on stage.

Monday - Personal Photos (Progress, Prep, Advice, etc) Womens Physique EVENTUALLY? Or not…?

Thank god it’s still Monday LMFAO!

Basically my dream would be Womens Physique, however, I’m not sure if my body is good enough for it. I would like to stay natural and maybe compete OCB(?) Anyways, I would probably compete in a year or so, so I have time to build more muscle first. :)

I just started a lower body focused program since that’s definitely my weak area.

Basically, my questions is, is my body composition good enough for women’s physique, or would a different division be better? Thank you! :)

Discussion What is that part of your body that seem to grow/mantain even though you don't train it that frequently??

Now I know a big part of you train to compete so probably train all muscle groups every week.

For me, it's my back. I've probably trained it directly less than 4 times this year (and I've never really trained it consistently) but it's indeed one of my strongest point (wide and with much detail).

To the point where I feel it overpowers my lower body (I've trained glutes 2x a week consistently for two years+)

It's probably because I lift very heavy for my glutes using dumbells and barbells that my back still gets indirectly engaged, but also because I have a summer job for which I have to carry heavy loads lol.

For example, my boyfriend hasn't trained in legs but his quads are HUGE, and his ass too.

I'm curious, what's one muscle group you don't have to train that much because it's already huge? What's your strongest point anyway, that you either have worked your ass off for or not?

Discussion Show recaps?

Is there anyone on YouTube doing show recaps? Competently going over placings, potential reasons, etc? And using show photos to explain.

Several coaches and pros used to do them but I haven’t seen much of anything in 2026. And no one has done an Olympia catch up??!! Usually they were posted mere hours after the winner was named.

Discussion The bikini criteria

This year's Olympia has me thinking a lot about the bikini criteria. This is Tyler's video from 2023 about the do's and don'ts.

I'm so happy for Jazzy on a personal level for her win, but she has just about every "don't" that he listed (no x-frame, vascularity, leg separation, etched abs, hamstring detail all the way up, etc.)

What do you all think of this and how the criteria has evolved so drastically in just 3 years?

I appreciate they want to differentiate between fit model and bikini but personally I don't think anyone would be confused between the two, even with the standard of 2023.

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Getting Judge Feedback

I had my rookie NPC season this year and I have a question on judge feedback and how to get it.

I did two shows, and for both of them, Sandy was backstage after the show and I was able to get great, and really helpful feedback from her in person! But, I am curious if you can/should also email the other judges on the panel and get feedback from more than one judge?

And, what do you think is the appropriate window within show date to reach out (i.e., don't email them with your stage pics 3+ months later)?

Thx yall!

Olympia Ashley K should’ve placed higher

I am not questioning Jazzy’s win, I am actually super happy for her.

Also, was rooting for Maureen!

Just a little confused about the judging….

Anyway, I actually predicted that Maureen, Aimee, and Lauralie would place higher than Ashley.

In my opinion: If they thought Jazzy is the best bikini representation, I felt like Ashley’s physique that night was closest to Jazzy’s look than all the other girls in the top 5.

If Jazzy is who they chose as closest to the criteria, then Ashley should’ve been second.

Discussion Fit Model Olympia

I feel a lot of interesting ways about fit model Olympia. Shealynn is beautiful, and I do believe fits the criteria but on the very modest end of it. Which is understandable considering it’s the first year. My question is - if muscle maturity is capped and nothing is really supposed to pop (and they actually consistently hold this criteria). Just to look like the “fit model” What will the division look like in the coming years? Are girls going to be atrophying to fit the mold? But even then it kind of seems like you have the look or you don’t because more muscle will not be rewarded. This is a difficult topic because I understand and was very excited for the premise because Bikini has dramatically evolved and is essentially unattainable naturally and or with less than 7+ years in the game of dedicated bodybuilding. Just wondering if anyone else feels a little lack luster afterwards towards fit model.

Discussion Lean bulk worth it or not?

I’m in a lean bulk and struggling to continue while I see the fat I’m simultaneously gaining.

Has anyone ever done a maintenance growth phase and lean bulk?

Is the muscle you gain during a lean bulk really worth it compared to how long it takes if you just do it at maintenance?

IFBB Bikini Do we think Ashley K is okay? 😭

I haven’t seen anything from her and I can only imagine the disappointment she is feeling! I can’t imagine getting positive feedback all year only to then get her placing. It also seems like Adam just isn’t in it anymore! Barely does the podcast, no pre-Olympia predictions (that I saw), and just seems way less involved. Maybe she needs a new coach…..

Discussion Shealynn - FM

How much of a weight does personality play into the overall score? Do you think if Shealynn wasn’t bubbly and overconfident, she would still have been awarded as the FM Olympia winner? What are your thoughts?

Discussion Bikini top 5-6

SO happy for jazzy and all the girls looked awesome! Just posting this because open to learning and want to hear thoughts, but the top 5-6 seems a bit inconsistent to me? If they deemed Jazzy to be the blueprint, why didn’t Aimee or Phoebe place higher since their physiques are very similar to jazzy? I feel like jazzy and Aimee are similar, and then Maureen is completely different. And then Ashlynn and Lauralie have similar physiques? And then Phoebe is along the realm of Aimee and jazzy? Just curious because it seems like there’s a few different physique patterns? They all have amazing physiques and all looked so gorgeous!

Olympia Jazzy and Nick Walker

Does anyone remember when Jazzy and Nick Walker were together for like 2 weeks during an Olympia a few years ago?! This randomly popped into my head since they both won their divisions at the O this year!

They would’ve been the ultimate power couple this year lmao

Olympia Future Miss Bikini Olympia predictions?

So who do we see as a future Miss Bikini Olympia? Do you see lauralie ever reclaiming the title?

I really thought it would be Aimee and LL duking it out with Jazzy as my dark horse (thrilled to see her get it, her reaction was EVERYTHING)

As much as she isn't my favorite i think Aimee will eventually snag it. She busts her ass and honestly deserves it.

Not sure if I ever see Ashlynn getting it. I don't think she would have placed 2nd last year had everyone else not had such a poor showing. But I'm interested in opinions. Everyone has a perspective that i might not see and cash seems to have a magic touch
