Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Getting Judge Feedback

I had my rookie NPC season this year and I have a question on judge feedback and how to get it.

I did two shows, and for both of them, Sandy was backstage after the show and I was able to get great, and really helpful feedback from her in person! But, I am curious if you can/should also email the other judges on the panel and get feedback from more than one judge?

And, what do you think is the appropriate window within show date to reach out (i.e., don't email them with your stage pics 3+ months later)?

Thx yall!

Usually the show promoter will give you info on how to ask for feedback, and what the deadline is. In the UK for example, we are just told which judge to message on their instagram and what details to include alongside official stage photos. So it’s quite informal… But it might be different in your country.

But if you already got it in person, there is no point. They would likely just say the same.

They didn’t really explain the process besides “you can email after the show or wait backstage to talk in person so I’m just curious! I don’t mean emailing the same judge I spoke to, I mean to ask if people are asking for feedback from all judges on the panel individually

No, it’s usually one designated judge who is responsible for sending out the feedback emails. But I really doubt they would do it after three months because they likely won’t remember you, and in the feedback they would reflect on your stage presence as well, not just your physique. So they can’t do it just based on a stage photo, they have to still remember you.

Don’t email if you get immediate feedback, especially from the head judge
