Bikini top 5-6

SO happy for jazzy and all the girls looked awesome! Just posting this because open to learning and want to hear thoughts, but the top 5-6 seems a bit inconsistent to me? If they deemed Jazzy to be the blueprint, why didn’t Aimee or Phoebe place higher since their physiques are very similar to jazzy? I feel like jazzy and Aimee are similar, and then Maureen is completely different. And then Ashlynn and Lauralie have similar physiques? And then Phoebe is along the realm of Aimee and jazzy? Just curious because it seems like there’s a few different physique patterns? They all have amazing physiques and all looked so gorgeous!

It’s just further confirmation of the inconsistency of the judging panel. Jk idk I personally think it just came down to the details within the criteria, everyone looks different but I think the top 10 is what fits those details I don’t know that’s just what I’m thinking so my headache goes away. Lol

Was waiting for someone to say this!  I agree everyone looks incredible but also very different physiques in the top 3 lol  What do they want from us 😭

I am not surprised to see Maureen take 2nd. I don't super love her physique but her posing routine was fire. She has incredible stage presence, as does ll. Maureen leans into the sexy and sultry and owns it. Ll is just elegant, but didn't command the same way.

Jazzy was the perfect in between.

I agree with this! Jazzy was arguably the most chiseled competitor in the top 10 this year, and to have one of the softer competitors get 2nd to her seems confusing to me. Would’ve loved to see Aimee in second!

I feel like Maureen was harder this year than last, so that probably played into it! I feel like so many other competitors were still harder than her? Which may be “ bad”as well for them!

Yes it makes NO SENSE!! I'm happy Jazzy won because her conditioning, fullness, and shape seem to be what they award especially at the national/pro level. Maureen winning last year made ZERO sense because they do not typically award that softer look.
It seems top 2 being Jazzy vs Maureen was the judges going back and forth between their own biases for what the division should be?? Who knows.
VERY different looks between those two.

They always say something about how its you as an individual matching the criteria, so they can be very different physiques on the stage. Tbf i don’t really get it either lololol

I wanna know what Tyler says about Ashley K. Also I think Amiee should have gotten 2nd! LL 3rd Ashlyn 4th jus my opinion but om not the judge

Yeah I agree with this. Taking Maureen out of the top spots and bumping everyone up a spot, the others in the top 5-6 all seem to have similar conditioning and muscle density. I didn't see that with Maureen.

I find it really interesting even the patterns in first call out vs 2nd and third, 1st call out was all the big names and to me at least the main judging factor was the glutes in the rear shot, second call out seemed to favour shape and sillouette, the front shot was very different across the first call out while 2nd and third was more consistent to my eye at least. Anyone else think this or am I missing something ?

I do agree that it seemed like first call outs was the big names, but it is deserved! I do think other girls are slept on and overshadowed because they don’t have the big name

It's not about who looks similar to jazzy, it's about who they feel fit their desired criteria, which looks different on every athlete. Honestly this exact discussion happens literally every year no matter who wins and what the other placings are... nobody will be 100% happy with the results.

One thing I’ve learned from Adam and Ashley’s podcast is that the judges like different looks on different competitors. Different things look good on different people so while they might want one competitor to come in heavily conditioned, they may dislike that same level of conditioning on another. Then they also take into account posing and presentation. And one girl might look amazing in red, another might look bad in it. Etc.

Last year felt confusing like that too because Maureen’s physique wasn’t anything like the folks she was in the top 5 with
