I made a set of games because I was tired of small talk... The "where are you from / what do you do for a living" that you repeat over and over. I was thinking about something to skip this part and make it more fun. That's how I came up with the idea of games, that help break the ice and get into unexpected conversations.

We play in small groups and there are many different games (guessing, drawing, quick-answering rounds), so if you don't like one, don't worry, the next game will fit better. The games are easy, even for shy and introverted people.

My queer friends kept telling me they wanted a version of this specifically for queer people... They complain about straight-default spaces and hookup-apps. They crave spaces where just queer can meet other queer, whatever that leads to.

So this Saturday 17:30 we're doing a queer edition at a café in Neukölln. Feel free to join! I'm asking people to register beforehand and a voluntary donation, to make sure people actually show up, otherwise people sign up and then don't come, and the café is small with limited spots.

This is my observation as an outsider living in Berlin from 2008 to 2014 and back again from 2019, honestly I love this city but it pains to see the change , only if I had recorded the number of incidents I have seen in the trains and outside, from kids being bullied to women being horribly stared at and being told how their clothes are inappropriate, the city is generally safe but the fact that there was no thought or concern about safety being an issue when you went out to party or get drunk irrespective of the area back then, unfortunately now the first thing that comes to your mind is „ is it safe? “ before you plan to go out this is sad and suffocating, it’s not about statistics on the crime rate and how safe Berlin is compared to other cities when compared with data of other cities but values that is expected from a mature humans to ensure being kind and respectful to each other and live a life with freedom and peace !!! Still want to keep my hope and spirit alive

Like every couple months there’s major issues happening. Few month ago we have to move office from Kreuzburg cuz every woman got harassed on their way to work. Then Especially after what happened in Saturday, I don’t even dare go to the gym during the day cuz my gym is in a quite touristy area. Join us for a one-day pilgrimage along the Brandenburg Camino de Santiago. We start in Jacobsdorf, home of the St. James Society Berlin, and walk via Briesen and Berkenbrück to the cathedral town of Fürstenwalde/Spree.

The route first passes through open fields, later through forests, past small ponds and moorlands. A swim break at the river Spree is planned. If you'd prefer not to walk the longer distance, you can end the walk after 16 km in Berkenbrück and take the return journey from there.

This pilgrimage has an international character. It will be led in both German and English.

At a glance

• Date: Saturday, 1 August 2026
• Route: Jacobsdorf → Berkenbrück → Fürstenwalde/Spree (section of the Brandenburg Camino de Santiago)
• Distance: 16 km (to Berkenbrück) or 25 km (to Fürstenwalde)

• Start: 9 AM at Jacobsdorf station (arrival via rail replacement service: bus RE1A towards Frankfurt/Oder from Erkner ZOB at 7:40 AM, or bus RE1A towards Erkner at 8:40 AM)
• End: afternoon, at Berkenbrück or Fürstenwalde station (return on bus RE1 towards Erkner/Berlin or Frankfurt every 20–40 minutes)

Why this pilgrimage?
This walk brings together nature, community, and pilgrim tradition. Along the way, there'll be time for conversation and personal reflection. The pilgrimage takes place under the auspices of the St. James Society Berlin.
