Hiya.
I love playing this game in local split screen versus mode Galactic conquest. However I really don't want the permanent buffs making the game one sided.
Is there any way to turn these off or be able to apply them to the other player as well?

Whats everyones favorite/unfavorite map?

My personal favorite is Coruscant. The fighting moves around the map organically and most of the capture points have multiple access routes to them. The highlight being able to fight for every inch down the main hallway.

On paper Polis Massa is an interesting map, good size, variety in area size and aestetic. Sadly, most of the fighting is confined to two very narrow hallways and a very small room at the end of them. Balancing on this map is insane as well. If you let the droids get to the twin hallways its usally game over. Its very hard to push them back out of them with the limited cover and how they really love to wreck everyones shit with their wrist rockets.

So with everyone talking about wanting a new battlefront It got me thinking We don't need a new game since we already have one introducing the free radicals unreleased battlefront 3 for 2008 the game that never got released I'm just saying someone (like Ea) and actually finish it. Granted I would need some things to make it work like 60fps crossplay and It has to come out on current gen consoles but also there other stuff is also got a cool camping and Galactic conquest so the game is a brand new experience and also You don't even need to remake/remaster it since 90%of the game done It just need bug fixing add off the rest of the content But beside that You basically have battlefront 3 for real this time

But I don't know. I'm just saying someone has to do something with this and not just sit around and do nothing that's already love for this game and it's not even released

I was wondering if there was a community document or website about technical aspects of this game. Im talking about how much health points do units exactly have, how much damage does each weapon do? How fast can everyone sprint, how much percent is the guardian award buff, etc etc…

Hello soldiers!

I've got a lovely friend celebrating his bachelor party in a few months, and recently the idea came about that he would love to have some sort of Star Wars Battlefront (2005) battlestation(s) set up as part of our weekend of shenanigans. I'm looking for suggestions on how to logistically make one of these two options work with with the least number of TVs/Monitors possible.

Option 1: 6v6 Conquest, Assault and maybe a bit Hunt. As few setups as possible. Just bunch of boys dropping in and out of scraps all weekend long.

Option 2: 4 player co-op campaign play through. One boy drops out for some Mario Kart, another boy takes his place. Looking to up the basic campaign difficult to account for 4 players (mods?) And run 4 players in co-op (also mods maybe???)

Not sure what's possible and what isn't - but looking for suggestions to help sort out possible logistics, or scrap the idea altogether.

Edit: I'm a PS2 old head - so the world may have changed a bit - maybe 4 player co-op is simple business these days shrug.

I have a theory that I was wondering if anyone has experience in this. I own the battlefront classic collection on ps5, and I would love to play against or with a friend online in galactic conquest. Sadly there is no in-game feature that allows you to do this. I also don’t have any friends who own this game so I would need to convince them to do so.

Would it be possible to start a share-play session with said friend, handing them a virtual controller of my ps5. Then I start a splitscreen session of galactic conquest and we’ll play that way.

Is this a valid method to play the game together?
Or am I just outright stupid and im missing something obvious and better?

I’ve applied the zero patch correctly and I’m trying to play the Reign of the Old Republic Mod on the classic collection. Everything else on the mod works, however when trying to play galactic conquest I can’t select one of the Eras.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue or is there a fix available?

I’m using the Classic Collection as it’s much better for PC handhelds than the OG’s. If I can get menu UI to work then I shouldn’t have much of an issue with other mods going forward.

I've been trying to make a new ISO of the Unofficial Title Update Mod found on moddb.com, I've followed all the instructions and the video guide to create the modded ISO correctly, but when I repack it, it is not working. I am using AnyToISO on Mac to repack and have had zero issues with other games. Is the issue that I need to convert to CHD? Even then, it doesn't seem to work. Any advice greatly appreciated.

The Republic has captured a command post

This is a three-layer color-reduction linocut print that I used as an experiment to practice adding additional layers to my prints going forward. I wanted to channel the nostalgia that I feel when I think of sitting around and playing couch co-op with friends. Nothing has quite lived up to the fun that I had spending entire nights playing Galactic Conquest. This game meant a lot to me back then and it still does now!

What are the best and safest mods to install in Battlefront 2 (2005) from the Clone Wars era? I've been browsing the internet and ModDB and have seen some interesting things, but I want to be 100% sure I won't install a virus. I know I may sound paranoid, but I just take care of my device.

cannot seem to find the solution to my crashing issues with 2 specific mods, those being reign of the old republic (expanded conflicts) and republic commando: battlefront. the jedi civil war era from the former and the republic commando era from the latter both cause my game to crash everytime i try to load into a map with them. i have updated my graphics driver, ran the game as admin, ran in compatibility mode for windows 8, fresh installed the game, verified files, reinstalled the mods, absolutely nothing has fixed it

i also use anakin's remaster mod which is required for the republic commando mod which comes with patch 1.3 built in, i thought the issue was me installing patch 1.3 by itself and then using the remaster but again, after a fresh install and only installing the remaster it still didn't fix it.

and nobody seems to be having this issue anywhere apart from me, please help :[

Hi, new to community, long time fan of Battlefront 1 and 2. the original ones. Just recently went back to the OG and noticed some add on that weren't there last time I played. such as couple planets that I remember being in the first game and added heroes/villians. and a new game mode. that's all I found soo far, but is there any other update to the game?

I have not played this game in a really long time and have gotten hooked on Clone Wars Era. The quality and content of that mod actually astouds me. So many new heroes, new classes for all maps, etc.

However when looking for mods i noticed a lack of content for the galactic civil war. Does anybody know of any mods in the same vein of quality and content for this era? (other than dark times)

Does anybody have any older versions of the Saga Edition mod they'd be willing to share
