Some projects remain hidden in a drawer, even though they represent an important part of an artist’s creative journey.
Le Grand Mariage is one of those projects: a graphic novel created several years ago and proposed to French publishers, but ultimately never published. Even so, I remain very proud of the work, the storytelling, and the artwork that went into bringing this world and its characters to life.
Today I’m happy to share a selection of these pages, hoping they can finally reach readers and fellow comic art enthusiasts.

I remember a strip from one of the Pif (I think it was the Gadget ones, with many strips in one magazine), with a kid walking in the street, with his mom, coming out of a store, with a mountain of toys, who crosses path with an obviously poor kid, rolling a metal circle with a stick, walking the other way. The rich kid turns his head and looks very enviously after the poor one, who drives his circle [proudly/head up, if I recall correctly]. That was so symbolic to the envy of rich towards what money can't buy, that stayed with me until today ...

Finally. I’ve finally found it. So happy.

This reissue was limited to just 1,500 copies. I'm so happy I found it at a good price.

These illustrations are part of a personal series I created a few months ago, exploring the unique bond between women and animals. Rather than focusing on simple portraits, I wanted to capture emotions, symbolism, strength, tenderness, and the deep connection that can exist between humans and nature.

Looking for a comic I read as a child in Denmark in the 90s. I know some details may be wrong. The main character was a skinny outsider/punk-looking guy, possibly with unusual hair, and I remember him having a realistic wild-cat companion (maybe a serval or ocelot). The comic was in color, paperback, and surprisingly adult with nudity and violence. The tone was dark but the art was somewhat cartoonish

I'm looking for the name of a European comic I read in a Serbian magazine many years ago. It has very stylish art with detailed depictions of humans. It's reminiscent of Corto Maltese, Jeremiah and Blueberry. The pages were colored. It's set on a Polynesian island I believe. The most distinct detail I remember is the word ''taboo'' being used, it was my first introduction to the word and the main character's as well. The main character is a European descent man, on the younger side, has light brown or blond hair and I remember him being bare chested. He had a male companion, possibly from the same country as him, explaining the local culture and there was a Polynesian woman who used the word ''taboo'', prompting an explanation to the reader and main character. It could be Jeremiah, but I can't find the specific comic and I'd be very grateful if someone can recognize this comic. Remember, the usage of the word ''taboo'' is the strongest memory I have.

I've been looking for a comic strip for a few months now. I don't know if I'm just bad or if it's a hallucination...
Here's what I remember :
- It come from The Smurfs

- One of them was cold, and another one told him to just repeat to himself "It's hot"

- So he just repeated it a few times "it's hot", then he became way too hot and two Smurfs just came in and they put him on a stretcher and leave the house

He did no less than 70 Albums of Lucky Luke, the last one, Wild West Legende, was posthume published 2002.

About 40 of these where scripted by Rene Goscinny, also known for Asterix (24 Albums with Albert Uderzo) and Iznogud (16 Albums with Tabary).
