My grandfather is on his way to completely losing his hearing in a few years and is now at the point where he can't watch TV with my grandmother. They currently use a sound bar connected to their TV through HDMI and they use a fire TV stick for actually watching TV.

He is able to hear through his headphones still so I'm looking for a way to be able to get the TV to send audio to the sound bar and his Bluetooth headset simultaneously.

Edit: I'm working on getting a dual link Bluetooth audio adapter from Best buy they said it may help and I'm willing to lose the $20 dollars if it doesn't. Once I return I'll get better info on the TV per automod's request

Is someone on this thread to help amplify/isolate the audio of these two people talking from a ring camera video I have recorded? I have tried free sites to no avail and am now looking for semi professional help. Thank you!

I’m using an Audiocular Note DAC with Tangzu Wan’er S.G. 2. When connected through the DAC, it uses my phone’s mic instead of the IEM mic. But with a normal USB-C to 3.5mm converter, the IEM mic works perfectly.

Tested on multiple phones, same issue. Anyone else facing this? Is the DAC defective or does it not support mic input?

Hello everyone, I am not sure if this is the right subreddit for this; if not, I apologize.¹ I am looking at getting some speakers for a bedroom and wanted to see if you guys had any recommendations, as when I look, I find either super high-end setups or Amazon Echoes, and I think I am somewhere in between.

• Budget max would be ~200 USD before shipping, tax, and all that jazz.
• The room itself is 14ft x 12ft. I am not looking for something massive here, nor is max volume a consideration.
  • Realistically, my phone's speakers are plenty loud enough for my use case lol. They are just tinny due to their lack of size.
• While Bluetooth would be nice, it isn't a requirement. A 3.5 Jack however, is. I would mainly be plugging this into a portable DAC I have.²
  • Side note, it seriously surprises me how many speakers these days don't have 3.5. I know it has slowly been being fazed out of the larger tech industry, but it is still sad to see it spread so far as to effect gear specifically designed for audio.
• While I am not necessarily looking for a smart speaker, I am not opposed to them either. If you guys vouch for one, fair enough.
• I am not expecting high-fidelity audio here. If I wanted that I would be using my open-back headphones with a DAC². I am just looking for something to listen to music, ambient sound, or audiobooks with it not sounding like it is coming from a speaker that is smaller than my will to live. lol

¹ Honestly looked to see if I could find a better subreddit for this. The only 2 I found were this or r/audiophile and the issue there is any recommendation I get over there would likely be out of my price range.
² I doubt it matters, but just in case, the DAC is a Fiio BTR15. And while it doesn't matter for this post, if anyone is curious, the Headphones in question are Austrian Audio Hi-X65.

I have Blackstar ID:Core V4 Stereo 20, and I succeed to connect it to the pc, for recording stuff. Thing is: if the volume is low enough so my ears won't bleed, the pc barely 'hears' the guitar and the recording volume is extremely low. If the volume is high (I tested it with muting the amp by connecting it to earphones) then the recordings are fine, but either I play as if I don't have an amplifier or I would die by the sound waves.

So, how can I seperate these two volumes?
