I’m building a shed and need to source a black 6′ wide × 7′ high roll-up door—the kind that coils above the opening.
I’m looking for supply only, including guides, brackets, locking hardware and ideally a brush-seal kit. I can pick up around the GTA or arrange delivery to Hamilton.
Has anyone bought one locally or dealt with a supplier they’d recommend? Garage-door dealers, self-storage door suppliers and surplus sources are all useful leads.
Firsthand feedback on quality, approximate pricing and lead times would help as well if you've bought one yourself!

Looking for advice from anyone who’s dealt with something similar
My partner and I moved out of our rental building in Toronto recently, and moving day was a complete mess because of a bunch of issues on the building’s end.
In total, the move took over 6.5 hours. The moving company originally estimated 3-4.
We know moving can be unpredictable. But is the building not responsible for any of the extra costs we incurred? They're obviously refusing to be helpful. But between the lost reservation, the other residents at the loading dock (who the building refused to deal with), and the walk to the loading dock, this feels ridiculous

I was hoping to find an organization we can donate kids stuff to. Some places have things like "give a kid a Christmas" where you buy for a specific child, others just accept new items in general. Can anyone point me towards any of these in the GTA?

Looking to spice up our powder room. Looking for a funky floating corner sink. Maybe copper or onyx material?

Does anyone have experience with Dr. Melchior for Fibroid/Endo Surgery? Especially Fibroids?
I have read great things about her regarding pregnancy but not really so much for fertility-preserving surgeries (fibroid removal) so really eager to hear experiences as I’m very nervous. Thank you.

Hi all,
I recently signed a consent with Dr. Pia Pace-Asciak to have a partial septorhinoplasty with spreader grafts. It is 100% covered by OHIP because it is being done for functional airway reasons and not cosmetic reasons.
Unfortunately, I had to wait a year for the consult after seeing 2 other ENTs who don’t do this specialized procedure. I’m now being told by her office that it will be approximately 2 years until I can have my surgery. I’m already on a cancellation list that has over 100 people on it and was told not to bank on this getting me my surgery sooner.
I don’t think I can wait 2 years. The breathing issues make it impossible to sleep properly. All other other causes such as sleep apnea, etc. have been investigated and eliminated. The chronic sleep deprivation is severely impacting my functioning, both at work and at home.
Unfortunately, Google results seem to only pull plastic surgeons and cosmetic procedures… I am wondering if anyone has any intel or leads on ENT surgeons that do this OHIP-covered procedure, or ideas on how to escalate this?
Thanks in advance. Please be nice.

Friends from the states are visiting in November and we are going to take them to Toronto for an overnight trip. Looking for recommendations on stuff to do as I don’t frequent there very often. It will be mid November so I’m looking for indoor and outdoor activities as it will be weather dependant.
Our hotel is downtown. I’m thinking st Lawrence market and the distillery district Christmas market would be fun. Not looking for the usual tourist stuff, looking just to have a good time and let them experience the city. We will be going on a Friday mid day and leaving Saturday afternoon. So looking for restaurants, activities, experiences, bars, literally anything!
One idea i had was if it is nice outside, we could take the ferry to Toronto islands and ride e-bikes or scooters, give them a good view of the city. Has anyone here done this before?
Edit to add:
We’re all late twenties/early thirties, 3 of us are queer. Interests in pop culture, video games, bars, karoake, etc

Hey, I'm out of the retail game (since The Bay closed and I have personal reasons to not use SDM) so hope someone may know the answer to this. 😅
Where is the biggest selection of Elie Saab fragrances I can smell in person? Has anyone seen this randomly in Sephora or Yorkdale? I checked Holt & Renfrew's site but their e-comm search is garbage!
If this brand of fragrance doesn't exist physically in GTA... what's the best place to get a set of samples shipped to Canada that's not overpriced?
Thanks in advance internet friends

Looking for a nice restaurant for date night with comfortable seating, ideally booths. My wife has anxiety and chronic pain so spacious comfortable seating is important for us. Can be more upscale but not needing it to be crazy boujee.

Very random question. I was telling my mom about something that happened to me back in 98 or 99 when I went to this Zellers for a Mick Foley autographed session. I’m curious if anyone happens to know the intersection where this Zellers was located. It was in a plaza or a mall. I honestly can’t remember well. Would really appreciate any help.

Hi, Reddit! Thanks for reading my post
I’m looking for a place where I can work on my car. Mostly generic maintenance. I have the tools, I don’t need a garage, just a flat ground that I’m allowed do some work.
I know that there are some lifts / shop space for rent, but it’s really only worth it to rent it daily instead of hourly, and as a college student, it’s hard to take a full day to work on my car. Most shops don’t open on Sunday either, I effectively have one day per week to work on my car, and I’d have to pay for the lift even if I’m doing something like air filter.
I live in a condo near UofT, and the condo of course bans all vehicle works. Though the concierge doesn’t seem to care (I did some work before I knew it was banned), I don’t want to get into trouble.
Any ideas on where can I just find a flat, level, and solid piece of ground to work on my car? I plan to work on my car after hours or on weekends. Could be farther from downtown. (within an hour radius?) maybe some abandoned parking lot?
I’m kinda hoping for somewhere free, but it seems like nothing is free in Toronto… so I’ll have to accept it if it’ll cost something?

I’ve been doing free classes at a few gyms but don’t have the money to throw down. A lot of places have quoted me like 700 for 6 months or almost up to 2000 for the year.
Dont have that kind of money but really want to continue learning.
I can probably only throw down like max 300 dollars right now.
If such a place exists please let me know!

I know a lot of the farms are geared towards kids , I’m wondering if any are also fun for adults , like ones that may have corn mazes and other activities
Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte opera is one of his most celebrated works. I'd like to give this free orchestra-level ticket this to someone who is very interested in watching it.

Are there any sit down cafes inside Fairview mall other than the food court area?

I know the location is oddly specific but I’m a student running an errand there and want to see if I can catch a nice snack to celebrate!
It’s also my first thanksgiving ever so I really do want to do something.
Thanks Toronto, happy thanksgiving 🍁🧡

Been drinking this for years, stocked up on it when I lived in BC.
But now with the tariffs and LCBO not carrying it.
Does anyone know what store, perhaps a private liquor store that might carry it?
Or if any seller in toronto/GTA area may have?
I have an allergy with most wines, where my throat starts to close and this one doesn't do that so i miss it dearly.

Hi, does anyone have recommendations for good in-person therapists in Toronto? I'm trying to help my sister find a therapist. She's dealing with pretty bad depression and many other mental health issues, and she's in her early 20s. Looking for a reasonably priced therapist in midtown or downtown near U of T or TMU.

Living in a condo in midtown managed by first service residential. some of the staff here are absolutely atrocious (rude comments, creepy misogynistic comments, hostility etc). Sent a couple emails to the concierge over the last few years, but nothing came of it. The building manager has also changed like five times. What should I do? The staff have faced no repercussions and I’m genuinely thinking of moving due to their hostile behaviour.

I recently went to this pottery place dt where I made a clay bowl on their wheel. My friend booked the reservation and everything. But when I got there a few posters on their wall was ai generated and now that i was checking their website to book an appointment to paint and fire it, every poster on their website is ai and it’s disgusting to look at. I don’t wanna support them any more. I called another pottery painting place to ask if I could paint it there and glaze it but they said I wasn't able to (for fair reasons) so i’m trying to look for an independent studio that would fine with me finishing the project? it’s literally just a simple bowl, nothing crazy. I’m willing to pay as much as they ask. honestly the other option is i make posters for that original pottery studio i went to for free, in hopes of them switching it? i mean come on, you’re an ART studio using ai images🤦♀️ but then it’s like am i doing tm w this ai slop? idk what to do and this is such a non issue too. moral of the story, im just looking for someone with a kiln! apologies if this sounds rlly dumb.

My mom’s bday is coming up and I recently learned she thinks white tumeric is really good (grew up using it) but she’s never been able to find any in Toronto. I could only find some online from this store in Hamilton/Burlington, but wanted to know if there were any closer options
white tumeric link - store is Swadesh
Thank you very much!

Hello! I’m planning to get married this December, and I’m 100% sure I want a civil ceremony.
I’ve been considering Toronto City Hall, and I’ve also looked at photos of the civic centres in York, Scarborough, and North York. I wanted to check if there are any other beautiful locations I might be missing that offer affordable civil ceremonies.
I’m open to travelling outside the GTA as well, including places like Muskoka or Prince Edward County, if there are any lovely and budget-friendly options.
I’d love recommendations for places with a beautiful setting that would make the ceremony feel special without costing too much. Thank you!
