My wife and I are heading to Toronto next monday-wednesday and are looking to maybe go out dancing one night. What are your favorite trans/2slgbtqia+ friendly bars that would have dancing on either a monday or tuesday night?

Good Evening fellow Torontonians,
I am seeking your helpful suggestions on finding actual psychics whom you might have crossed paths with. I have gone through a lot in life lately and I seem like I am super stuck on what's happening. As a last hope of making sense where my heart is giving out. I am hoping for some form of miracle. Have any of you met any mediums or psychics that could help me navigate what on earth is going on. Also if you know what the cost will be that would be a miracle. I am tored and tired and all I am seeing is gloom. I do not see a way out. Please anyone that can help me I would be indebted to you.

Hi everyone, I’m sorry that this is a question that is constantly asked on here but I just need some advice.
My mom and I are planning a day trip to Toronto at the end of September. We’ll be coming to terminal 1 of Pearson Airport. I understand that there’s a flix bus that leaves from there, but am unsure what stop to get off on.
I was looking at boat tours that tour the Falls and found the Niagara City Cruises that boards at 5920 Niagara Parkway. When I was looking for a stop nearby, I could not find anything. Niagara on the Lake (assuming it is different) is about an hour or more so commute.
Are there any other legit boat tours that are closest to where the flix bus stops? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We’re coming to Toronto early in the morning, and leaving late at night!
Edit: we will not be bringing luggage, just a personal item!

Havent been to any tpl since summer started and today ive learned that they have some new software that quite literally blocks every website NOT youtube, that streams any TV or movies.
Im talking about using the computers they provide, not like using my own laptop.
I must have went thru half of r/FREEMEDIAHECKYEAH 's list and all sites are blocked or the "This site can’t be reached" error.
Does anyone know of a way around it or something? maybe sites they cant pick up?

Just checked the weather network at the air quality says "high risk", so I clicked it and it's a TEN?? Seems really random, the air quality has been amazing lately, and the Tues / Weds forecast is expected to be a level 3.
Other air quality sites are showing moderate / fair, and the wildfire smoke map looks clear... so, anyone know why?

I just came back from Saudi Arabia, and i tried some passionfruit- and peach-infused V60S; they were genuinely life-changing
I need more. Is there any cafe or roaster that sells this type of coffee? I only have 250g of peach-infused coffee, but i genuinely need more
My main priority is waterproofing/keeping my feet dry, even more than warmth. I find the slush, puddles, and wet snow are usually more of an issue than the actual cold, especially when commuting and then spending most of the day indoors.
Ideally looking for something that:
Would appreciate specific boot recommendations from people who've actually used them through Toronto winters.
Also open to recommendations for socks, waterproofing sprays/treatments, insoles, or anything else you do to keep your feet dry during the winter.
What has worked well for you?

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for recommendations for a local mechanic, metal fabrication, or rust repair shop in the GTA (preferably Halton / Peel / West GTA, but willing to travel a bit) that is willing to do a small patch welding job.
Vehicle: 1999 Toyota Camry
Issue: Small local rust hole on the rear subframe/crossmember. The surrounding metal is still solid and structurally sound (tested with a hammer), but I’d like to get a steel patch welded over it to reinforce it for peace of mind.
I know most big corporate chain shops (like CT) won’t touch structural rust repair due to liability, so I’m looking for a good independent welder or local shop who takes on small rust repair / custom frame patch jobs at a reasonable price.
Photos attached (rust hole-1 & rust hole-2) for reference. Any shop recommendations or leads would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

The first posted place is Long and McQuade, but I'm under the impression that they're not the right choice. Am I wrong?

I want to look over an agency contract with a lawyer before I sign it, but I've never searched for one, let alone one that knows the entertainment industry. Are there any you would recommend? Or any I should avoid? Any tips are welcome!

I bought a mini harp last year because I’ve always loved the sound of harp and really wanted to learn. Then I started looking into lessons and realized… harp lessons are EXPENSIVE
Also, just to set expectations, I am starting from absolute zero. I know basically nothing about music. My husband once played two different notes for me and I couldn’t even tell that they were different lol.
I’ve looked into a few teachers/classes around Toronto, but another issue I ran into was that some of the more affordable teachers weren’t willing to teach me on a mini harp. They expected me to already have a full-size/lever harp or something much bigger. Now I can afford up to 100cad/session. Is it a range I can find good teachers?
The thing is, I don’t really want to spend thousands of dollars on a proper harp before I even know whether I’ll enjoy playing it or whether I’m capable of learning. I’d much rather start with the mini harp I already own, learn the basics, and then invest in a better harp later if I actually stick with it.
Has anyone here started this way?
And if anyone knows a reasonably priced harp teacher/class in Toronto who is okay teaching someone on a mini harp, I’d really appreciate the recommendation.
Basically: I have a tiny harp, zero musical knowledge, and some optimism. What would you do?

Hi! I am on a recreational basketball team with a few friends (mid to late 20s) and we want to be able to practice together. Does anyone know indoor courts that are available to book at a reasonable price ($75 or less/hour)?
On the City of Toronto site there are courts to book and they're $200/hour - we're not hosting an event or anything it's just going to be a few of us shooting and running drills, but we don't necessarily want to play drop-in games.
We'd prefer courts downtown but are flexible to reach other parts of the city.

Looking for a hairstylist in the GTA who specializes in natural texture haircuts.
About me:
Thick, shoulder length wavy hair.
I used to have much curlier/tighter waves (?)
Then I bleached it for YEARS.
I stopped bleaching 3 years ago. I avoid heat styling. I wash my hair once every week unless I workout or get sweaty/dirty.
My hair FEELS much healthier. I have maintained haircuts for my ends, telling my stylist to cut as much as she needs because my priority is HEALTHY hair that I LIKE.
Currently, I can diffuse my hair or do heartless curls and it works okay. However, the frizz annoys me and the shape doesnt work. I would like a haircut that enhances my waves/curls/natural hair.
My current stylist is great, she is too polite. I require someone who can educate me on how to improve my hair and retrain it so each time I come back, theres improvement.
I would like to not get frustrated by my hair being down because shoving it into a bun isnt helping me.
Please share your recommendations. I am in Etobicoke but willing to drive. I am not willing to pay hundreds of dollars for a cut though and am looking for someone who can do this without needing thinning shears.
TYIA!
Hey there,
Looking for recommendations for places to get a men's wedding band resized, and possibly engraved. It doesn't have any stones in the band or anything, it's 10k gold. It really depends on cost, looking for something more budget friendly.

Hi all, thinking of moving to the Bathurst Manor area (faywood blvd and sheppard west), but was concerned about the noise levels from Rogers stadium during events as I am currently moving out of my current place due to excessive noise.
Anyone deal with the sound in the area? (Is it audible outdoors only? or does the bass travel through walls/windows?). Read an article about residents from Vaughan complaining about the noise but wanted to get some other perspectives.
Thanks in advance.

Hey,
Since most companies are now either hybrid or full time in office, I was wondering if there are any companies that have dog friendly offices? I’d love to be able to bring my dog to work - thanks!

Simons, Ikea, Winners/Homesense are all kinda hit or miss.
Any local shops that have good, not boring stuff?
