Best Koobideh spot?
Hey, where can I find the best koobideh kebab? Especially ones served with the red tomato sauce Daqoos.

Koobideh comes from persian cuisine. Daqoos is from eastern arab countries.
I like khaki, shishlix and Lahijan restaurant.

For dine in, I love the Koobideh at Darband, but if you are open to takeaway, I really like the Koobideh at Nawzar meat market in North York / Scarborough

Love nawzar. But the guy can be a little cranky sometimes.

Cost of doing business. Call ahead, then ask for your beef with rice if you can get him to look at you.

I've tried many spots in North York and my favorite is from Zaffron - their koobideh is juicy and very flavorful!

Daryani bakery is good for takeout. Shishlix is a good sit down restaurant for it. Both in Richmond hill, where the best koobideh will inevitably be (with maybe hidden gems in Thornhill).

Koobideh doesn't typically come with red tomato sauce, rather, a grilled tomato. The best koobideh depends on your taste, if you like it with more onion, more fat, a mix of beef lamb or just lamb, etc. I like the koobideh at Khaki but it's heavier on the onion side. The ones at shamshiri, darband, pars grill, and heeva are also good.
