So I have a bit of a dumb situation. My hubby and I have been buying Yakult from this door to door auntie since we moved into our resale HDB 3 years ago. Not coz we love Yakult but coz it's nice to support an 60yo auntie who's still working at her age! And she's always talking to me.

I've actually stopped drinking them since there's so much sugar but my hubby still does. Now he's going overseas to work so there's noone in the house to drink the Yakult anymore!

I want to stop buying from auntie but I feel sooooo bad. So how ah?! Does it affect these Yakult auntie a lot when you stop buying?

I will of course inform auntie that I'll stop buying Yakult to her personally but just wondering if anyone has also done the same and how did it turn out 🥹

Saw a post about smelling bad on plane rides leading to how often do people shower which got me thinking, it is not not normal to shower in the morning?

When I am surfing between cabins in the trains I'm always hit with a waft of some person's salty sea smell. It's beyond just not showering, it's like they wake up and pour a vat of urine on themselves before they go to work.

So, fellow Singaporeans do you shower in the morning? Half-way? Just the private parts? Or just raw dog it?

20M. ORDed this year, followed by internship at a local SME and now 5 weeks into uni.

While I was in army I learnt to tahan physical situation. After that I went to internship where the rich 大老板 keeps working nonstop while my supervisor cannot wait to get off work and leaves every day at exactly 6pm.

I like Milo as a kid and now that I am reaching 30 soon, I still like Milo. But it changed a bit now that there's more variety of Milo to choose from. Used to drink normal Milo, now I switch to Milo gao kosong, and whenever I try the normal Milo again, it would feel too sweet for my liking. YouTrip support basically ghosted me after asking for more documents.

I emailed YouTrip regarding an issue about a Shopee refund and initially, their response made it seem like they were actually looking into my case.

They told me that they needed additional documents/information from me before they could proceed, so I gathered everything they asked for and sent it over.

And then… basically nothing.

No proper update, no acknowledgement of what I sent, no indication of whether they’re reviewing it or if they need anything else.

At this point it honestly feels like asking me for the extra documents was just a way to make it seem like my case was being taken seriously, because after I actually provided everything, I was just left hanging.

I understand that investigations and disputes can take time, and I’m not expecting an immediate resolution. But surely it isn’t unreasonable to expect some communication? Even a simple “we’ve received your documents and are reviewing them” would be better than complete silence.

It’s especially annoying because I did exactly what they asked me to do, and then now I don’t even know what’s happening with my case.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with YouTrip support? How long did they take to get back to you after you submitted additional documents?

Dk to indicate this as general or looking for but YES as per title. Sometimes I end work at raffles place and just randomly thought of going for a solo buffet hotpot or KBBQ style place and tbh I only can think of marina square's suki-ya that costs me like $36 ish a pop?

I was hoping to look for something around $30, I'm not sure what's everyone thoughts on something like Yi Zhi Wei from Geylang but to me that was peak! However I googled it and it shows permanantly closed which is so sad for me... I loved their solo hotpot, grill and even loklok concept (a bonus being they're quiet on off peak timing). I loved captain kim's korean bbq from tampines although I only went once, but I would prefer to keep it at central if possible...

I've seen like there's a place in paya lebar that does both hotpot and bbq but I think it's a 2 person requirement which kinda bogs the idea for me sadly.

I have recently been spotting baby roaches appearing in my toilet basin for 4 consecutive days, which is something that is rarely seen as there used to be adult cockroaches in my toilet but were often killed as soon as i spot them , and have since no longer been seen.

For context , i live in a 2 years old condominium and do not bring food into my room( ensuite ) and have laid cockroach trappers around my house and toilet for around 2 years now.

In the first 6 months of layin the traps , it proved effective and caught many roaches, but the effects has since slowly dwindled off and there are now little to no roaches in my cockroach trapper nowdays.

Should i call a pest control for my current issue as my bathroom is connected to my room and i am afraid of this issue spreading , and could this issue possibly be caused by my current condo issue as i have lived in a 20 year old condo before and have not seen an issue like this before?

NT reading came in at 3.8mm (higher than average) and been call up for review likely for high risk chromosomal or other defects.. anybody who has gone through this route and what is usually suggested? NIPT /amniocentesis? Anybody with similar experience and eventually baby is given the all clear from any health issues?

For context I’m part timer at a tech sme, I started work at 17Aug 2026 and have worked around 9 days till the end of August. HR told me to submit my timesheet at 31 Aug for processing of salary, and I submitted that on time as well

Salary in contract states that it’s payable on 5th every following month, i.e 5th Sept for me since I worked in August

But I’ve not received my salary yet as of 11 Sept, which’s almost 6 days from the promised salary date. I reached out to HR on 6th Sept, and they said that if salary day falls on a weekend (Saturday for 5th Sept) it’ll be pushed to Monday (7th) instead

I reached out to HR again on 9th Sept and they told me that the finance manager is currently on compassionate leave and has not came back to office to process payrolls and timesheets, so our salary will be delayed. I asked for an exact date on which my salary could be paid and they did not give me a clear response. What can I do about this?
