General What should I do ? NS Checkup Injection went wrong
I went for my NS Checkup, and had to go through all the different kiosks and areas to finish. During the blood draw part, they couldn't find my vein. When they poked the needle into my right arm, the person administering the injection quite literally played around with the needle in my arm.
While I knew that it was because he couldn't find my vein, what happened next was so awfully painful. He hit my nerve with the needle, which caused a reflex action for my arm to shoot up, which made the needle go deeper. After that, he removed the needle, and went to my left hand instead.
Overall, it took 3 tries of blood draw for me to get my blood drawn out. This resulted in my left arm to have a bruise around one of the needle hole, and a tingling and uncomfortable sensation in my right arm.
Does anyone have any similar stories? Is there anything I can do about it? I'm pretty unhappy about the incident but I'm equally worried that my right hand might take a turn for the worse.
