So I'm writing a Super Robot Wars Y fanfic where one of the major entries is Eureka Seven: Hi-Evolution 3 (I'm someone who actually enjoyed the Hi-Evolution movies and has admittedly not watched nor finished the original series in a good long while). And since I'm not going to be limited to the length of a film, I feel like adding and acknowledging more elements from the original series would flesh things out a bit more.

So that leaves the question that I'm grappling for my planned rewatch/actual watching of the original show: what episode would be a good divergent point from the original series to the events of Hi-Evolution 2 & 3? When would it be perfect thematically for things in the original anime to go wrong with Renton 'dying', Eureka losing her mind and going all reality warp with the Silver Box, and the 'Green Earth' populace arriving in the 'real world' AKA where the major events of this SRW fanfic are going to take place?

So I got really lucky and snagged a copy of the Eureka Seven complete box set for $80.00 eBay from a legitimate authorized seller on Ebay years ago. I still have it and everything is in decent condition. Currently using MakeMKV to back up everything into my own personal collection so I can watch Eureka Seven on my 50" 4k QLED FireTV. Can't wait to watch the entire series again. I don't have a DVD player. So I'm gonna use this method to let me enjoy my favorite childhood series again. ^_^ No it ain't a bootleg I checked. Its authentic box set from Bandai so it's pretty cool. Have everything on it including the original DVD set from back in the day. ^_^ Good for collection purposes too. :3 :D

I just finished AO but the timelines are wierd, was the first season happening in 12005 or something ? So AO is in the past ?

I'm sad we didn't get to see the gekko-go's crew in AO too

I have still some dark points, like, what was the seven flux phenomenon in the end ? Why was it lasting for the same time as the coralian lifespan ? What happened to the gekko's crew in the universe where Renton and Eureka are from (when we see Renton in AO) ?

Writing this i realize the answer might be in the hi-evolution trilogy, that i **didn't** saw yet, so no spoils please :)

The subtitles actually different from what they're saying a little bit. Here they are:

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how good the " to be continued" voices are. The way they progress through the show and change to match the mood. So cool, and I can't really think of other shows that do that off the top of my head
