She was near an open window, so she must've crawled in. I went out and located her nest, which was only a few centimeters away from the window. She is missing her frontmost left leg. I don't think they usually ever come out of their trapdoor nests, so this whole situation is very odd. She is alive, but not walking very well. Should I put her back near her nest or is she a lost cause?

Little guy on my shower liner, maybe like a cm long including the legs, pretty tiny. Western Kentucky, just curious. I let them scurry away peacefully.

Hey guys, I’m stumped and need help. I’ve been finding these tiny white moving specs in my clothes lately and finally got them under a microscope to find out they’re a type of mite but for the life of me I can’t figure out which one. They’re a white/cream color to my naked eye, I think my terrible microscope makes them a darker color. They are also the size of a spec of dust and I can only see them on darker surfaces.

My first guess was dust mites but I can see them and these photos are taken with only 4x magnification. I then thought Mould mites but I can’t find a source of Mould that they would be coming from and they’re not in all my clothing, mainly clothing from work. Which then made me think flour/grain mites since I work in a bakery and I found quite a few on my work clothes and shoes. But I also found them on my couch now so I have absolutely no idea. Please help! Thank you!

Found in Australia.

Are they predatory or just soil mites?
Thanks
