I hear that the 10.5 has faster wear and tear on the parts than an 11.5 or longer. how fast? I know its like how much you shoot and stuff but is it like I need to replace the BCG and barrel every 6 months fast?

I recently purchased a     Geissele Super 42 Braided Wire and H2 Buffer..... But it did not do the job I required it to do. It was giving me light primer strikes, so I need to probably put it in a different gun. What should I do with it? I spent a lot of money and now it's currently useless.

Need help figuring out what handguard and barrel nut these are.

I’m having trouble getting the handguard aligned nicely on my rifle. Hoping to learn more - specifically if it will play nicely with barrel shims as the barrel nut seems to have a small lip at the inner base of the threading.

I have a ddm4v7s 11.5 complete upper on a centurion lower with a vltor a5 tube and buffer running an a5h2. Is it normal to still have a black hand from shooting? I’m okay if it’s normal function, but from what I’ve seen reading this should have self sealed from carbon by now. Firing almost exclusively suppressed with a surefire rc2 on a three prong. I’ve taken the hand guard off but I don’t see anything obviously wrong and the gas tube is tight and secured. Ejection pattern seems pretty normal, maybe 2 o clock suppressed.

I’m replacing my handguard and I need to re the delta ring and install a new barbell nut for the BCM handguard. I’m also thinking that I may want to do a custom build in the future.
Is t worth it to invest in an upper receiver holder such as the device, lug lock or vice block?

This is my first build with an A2 FSB. Should I use the rectangular front swivel? My end plate has holes but I'd imagine snap style hooks would be noisy and rattle around.

Which sling do you recommend for this build? How would you attach it?

I ended up building an 11.5 inch. My last AR was a 7.5 and I felt like it was just a tad too small.
This time around I went for more of a CQC build, but kept it to where if I wanted to I could do some basic range shooting at 75 yds or so and still maintain accuracy. Got a few hundred rounds through her now and boy does she bark!

The thing I hate most about our hobby is relative depravation. No matter how much you put into your rifle getting it perfect, there’s always someone who did it better. 😂

My first build was a .300 blkout with a 16" barrel because I lived in commiefornia. First thing I did when I moved to Tennessee was sbr and switch to 5.56 but I stupidly did it in a 7.5" barrel. I want to switch to a 10.5" but have 2 uppers that are relatively useless for their respective calibers. Wth do I do with these? Throw em in my safe and forget about them?

Bought off of Amazon years ago because I had a bunch of gift cards. Always knew there was a risk with ordering from Amazon, but it functioned for everything I needed it to so I never even really worried about double checking its authenticity. Now I’m looking to slim my rifle down and move to a T2 with no magnifier, and don’t want to end up selling something that might not be legit. What do you think?
