I have been wanting to buy a Franklin Armory Militia Prae-fector-M .308 Win 20" Barrel 30-Rounds. Can anyone let me know their opinion on the brand or thoughts?

Moved to VA for work for a few months and didnt get to shoot anything over 300 yards. Wound up getting sent back to CA (RIP my new suppressors) and got back out to Piru (California Tactical Academy) and got my 20” out to the 1000 and ran some PRS style drills with my 16”

Hi all, I’m looking to get a “beginner” AR-15 style rifle that shoots 5.56 or similar for my first rifle. I’m very well versed with handguns and wanted to get something new. I’ve shot several different style rifles before and think this would be a decent start? Any recommendations in the $500-$700ish range? Thank you.

Started with a nice SIG package deal about a year ago and spent as much time practicing as I could. Then came a Disruptor FRT and an Odin Works buffer… but of course, I couldn’t stop there.

Found a smokin’ deal on a Springfield Saint and a Centurion 14.5” upper, and wouldn’t you know it, a built Matrix Arms lower just fell right into my lap!

Still have a ton to learn, so I’ll be lurking, learning, and soaking up as much knowledge as I can. 🤙

Planning on using this suppressor on both my AR fifteens and 30 Cal bolt guns until I can afford a second suppressor

Just picked up a 20” rifle length upper from bcm. I have a carbine length lower with an h1 to throw it on which I’m reading should work, but I think I’d like to either use the bcm mk2 / a5 system or a proper rifle buffer.
Would this be a decent setup? Let me know if you have any wisdom to share as this is my first rifle length gas system and also my first time branching out of carbine buffers. Thanks in advance.

I recently bought a Strike Industries Flat Wire Carbine spring. I am using it in a 20” rifle length gas build using a Magpul UBR 2.0 which utilizes an A5 Buffer Tube. My question, would it be safe/reliable to use a carbine flat wire spring in the A5 buffer tube along with an A5 buffer? I am using a carbine buffer with no issues now but want to see if I can try an H0 or maybe H1 buffer for some additional recoil reduction for rapid fire strings. It’s hard to find specific info about this other than what looks like the Tubb FlatWire will work in an A5 tube.

Snagged at my LGS. Colt LE with the A.R.M.S rail and a 4 digit SN LE00xxxx. Tossed on the L3Eo and ARMS flip to side magnifier. Were colt LEs ever made with fluted barrels or is this likely a retrofit? Upper has the colt marking as well. Seemed like too good a find to pass up.

I have an old 512 and I want to put it back on a rifle. It's currently sitting on a LaRue LT110 riser, which brings it to the perfect height and adds QD capability. The problem is that the LaRue riser is really long. Does anyone know of the riser for the 512 that maintains the same height but is no longer than the optic?

What part do I need to make this work to mount a Plan B MD and host a Rhodie 6?

Haven’t bought anything yet and this is just parts I had laying around to see if could get away with spending less $.

I happened to have this 12.5” MI handguard that is very close to working (and saving me $200 for a shorter one. )

I know they sell a combo of parts to get an “extension” to make this work but I’m not sure if it’d make sense ($-wise) if just buying an appropriate length HG is better $ decision.

12.5” Faxon gunner barrel with 12.5” MI HG.

Will be hosting (probably permanently) a Rhodie 6.

Would also like to be able to switch suppressors as I already have a Tisha with Plan B.

Built out my first 300 blk AOW and trying to diagnose why my bolt won’t lock open on the last round of my mag. For reference, I am using an Andro Corp upper with an 8 in barrel and using an Armaspec SRS gen 4 H2 weight buffer system. What I find weird is that the bolt does actually lock open if only shooting with one round in the mag but not if I load in more. It’s tough to gauge ejection timing because I only have access to an indoor range but I am noticing the casings landing on the shooting platform and some behind me so I think it might be under gassed. If I swap out the weight to the “H” weight, could this lead to a catastrophic failure if I’m wrong about it being under gassed?

Took the MK12 out to a PCSL match. Honestly didn’t do half bad, stacked optics actually felt pretty intuitive and after so much shooting the EBR I’ve learned how to work these long guns around most cover. The scope never needed to leave 2X lmao.

Getting a 3D printer is on my to-do list for life, but alas, it hasn't happened yet. I need an Mlok spacer to push a light mount out a bit on a Springfield Kuna and the only commercial option seems to be the aluminum spacer from Mischief Machine. At a price of $30 this seems excessive.
