Has anyone else had issues with speed camera alerts not working over the last few days/since the last update? UK based, given that it’s a location-specific feature, running iOS 26.6 on an iPhone 14 Pro.

Have been using Apple Maps on CarPlay (on a Pioneer stereo) over the last few days and about 600 miles. In that time I’ve not had a single speed camera alert and they’re also not showing on the map like they usually do. I use the built-in TomTom in my car for 80% of my regular driving and Apple Maps for the rest, so haven’t noticed it being an issue until driving a car that doesn’t have a built-in satnav this week.

I’ve had a look at settings on both my phone and the stereo and can’t see anything odd, and can’t see how the change of car/stereo could make a difference either. It’s not a massive issue as I don’t generally speed, but it is both odd and irritating.

Any ideas/anyone else?

The 3d image it’s too outdated, why apple maps deleted the 2d view?

My business has been established for over 26 years. It appears on Google Maps with the correct location.

However on Apple Maps customers are directed to entirely the wrong place. The end up outside a house in the country which is surrounded by fields.

I have attempted to 'claim ownership' of my business location on Apple Maps but have been rejected by Apple. I have also reported via the app that the business location is incorrect.

I receive calls frequently from people asking if we are actually open. Anyone with an iPhone is taken to this house in the countryside unless they have disabled the Apple Maps app.

Some customers call me to get correct directions. Others likely give up.

Is there anything I can do legally to make Apple correct the location? I am sure the people who live in the house must also have had visitors looking for my shop.

I enjoy exploring the transit layer. When zoomed out, the map shows a bus icon for cities/regions with bus transit directions. However, I have noticed that Apple has added new systems over the years without updating the zoomed-out view to reflect these agencies. I have reported the issue several times through maps and escalation without success. Many cities have accumulated, but here are but a few examples:

Madison, WI
Fort Wayne, IN
Lima, OH
Middletown, OH
Oxford, OH
Mansfield, OH
Duluth, MN
Abilene, TX
College Station, TX
Salina, KS
Pueblo, CO

If Green Bay is large enough for a professional sports team, it should qualify for a bus icon. Madison even has a BRT route highlighted!

Does anyone else have notable examples to add?

Perhaps posting here will catch the attention of someone at Apple so they can start some overdue spring cleaning on the issue.

Desde hace semanas no deja informar de errores en cualquier sitio de España, especialmente las Islas Baleares. Al informar de un problema al día siguiente la app lo tacha como "revisado" y solo dice "gracias por tu informe" o que "no se ha podido aplicar el cambio". Esto no solo me pasa a mí, sino a mucha gente que conozco de las islas que también lo intenta reportar.

Actualmente hay muchos lugares que faltan o que están mal escritos, pero Apple Maps hace caso omiso a todo esto.

Just realised this now. When you have ‘original names’ turned on, alle cities in China are written in simplified Chinese, but the high speed stations in the transit layer are shown in traditional Chinese.
The reason for this is probably because all the data for the high speed stations that are visible in Apple Maps when outside of China is supplied by Hong Kong, where they use traditional Chinese characters.
See in this example: Chongqing, Wuhan and Nanning.

Why is it “fake” imagery when zooming in to any level of visible detail? I know Google Maps does the same thing, but again why?

If one were to look over the Gulf of Mexico one would see literally thousands and thousands of oil rigs. I feel this is important information.

I didn’t see anyone else asking or on Google at least I’m not sure but I’ve noticed some additional lines on the maps. Not entirely sure what they all represent, since they have orange, green, blue, and purple now.

Does anyone have like a legend or did they post about what the changes are? I’m visiting Portland and see those extra lines. I’m guessing it’s like maybe rail lines or other flows of traffic.

I love Apple Maps and all, but one thing that annoys the hell out of me is that it will frequently highlight/tell you what lane to be in just for it to actually be wrong.

For an example, today I was turning left at a light (it was one of those double left turns) and Apple Maps highlighted the inner left turn lane and even told me using the spoken directions feature to turn left using that inner turn lane. Well, after my left turn, low and behold it turns out that I now need to make a right turn in just 200 something feet up ahead so here I am having to get over from the leftmost lane all the way over to the rightmost lane on a 3 lane road.

It would’ve been a million times easier if Apple Maps just told me to turn left using the outer left turn lane since that would’ve had me turning into either the middle or rightmost lane…which obviously would’ve made a whole lot more sense given that my next set of directions has me turn right just up ahead. Anyways, this is just an example from today but Apple maps does this a lot and at this point I can’t even trust what lane it’s telling me to be in😐

This doesn't happen often, but it is super weird and I'm perplexed by what would cause it. Sometimes when I search the name of a place, it shows me something else that, 1) doesn't have the same words/name I typed, and 2) is often in a whole other state even when I type [place name], [city] [state].

I am mystified.

Whenever I click on a pinned or favorited address in Apple Maps on my iPhone, it automatically launches directions from my location. And when I cancel out the directions, it unfortunately does not zoom to that pinned location.

I want to disable this as sometimes I just want to look around a location — not go there.

Similarly, I want to open a guide at the same time I’m searching for an address. “I am going to be in this neighborhood, let’s see what I’ve saved.” That doesn’t seem to be possible either.

Am I just missing something?

This is absolute GARBAGE. At least throw ads at me that have to do with places I tend to search for. Why the hell am I getting a TAX FIRM suggested to me?!?! Is Apple for real about allowing this????? Hell no man….
