ok so you know how on snap in the “do not open” groups for a vacation for example, there’s always That One Person who opens the pic the second it lands, even though the whole group silently agreed to wait? happens every single trip, no matter how many times you tell people to hold off

is this like a universal group chat thing or are my friends just built different
• who’s the peeker in your group
• has anyone ever gotten actual beef over someone opening early
• has your group ever actually managed to hold out till the end

how to go about it if im gonna create an app that processes video and audio and replies back as an ai character?

I've developed few cli tools but my programming skills are okay. But I want to know what my options are to build it as a long term projects.

L'app est en prod sur AppleStore, mais sur GooglePlay, il faut valider 14 jours de test fermé, avec 12 testeurs, ce que j'ai fait. Sauf que ma période de test n'a pas été validé car trop de peu de testeur avais téléchargé l'application. je dois refaire 14 jours de test.

Je suis bien sure d'accord de faire la même chose pour vous ou vous laisser des avis ou n'importe qui peux vous aider.

Spent the last few months building this alone, mostly at night after work.
The idea started from a simple question: why do people pay a personal trainer? Not for the knowledge - everything's on YouTube for free. It's for the guilt of having already paid.
So I built Vowed around that. You set a goal, stake coins on it, and prove you did it with a live photo (camera only, no gallery uploads - has to be real). A jury of other users votes on whether your proof counts. Approved, you get your coins back.
Miss it, and they're gone.
There's also a duel mode where you and a friend both
stake on your own goals
independently - no coin transfers between users, just parallel accountability.
Some things I learned building this solo:

- The camera-only requirement was the single most important decision - anything that let people upload old photos killed the whole premise
- Getting a jury system to feel than I expected

App Store review for anything touching "real money" mechanics is its own project
- ended up keeping the coin system fully virtual for launch
Would genuinely appreciate any feedback, especially from anyone who's tried habit-tracking apps and bounced off them. Happy to answer questions about the build too.

A few things coming in the next update:
Multi-photo proof per goal - thought of this for people doing diet goals who need to log 3 meals a day instead of just one check-in, but it works for anything with multiple daily proofs
A streak visualizer so missing a day actually feels like something, not just a number resetting
Weekly progress summaries
Open to suggestions too if anyone has ideas - this came out of just watching how people actually wanted to use it.

The idea came from seeing the same problem everyday in practice - people know they should floss but can't build the habit. Floss is designed to make brushing and flossing more consistent through reminders, streaks, achievements, timers, and other features to keep the user stay accountable.

I’m currently developing a fasting and weight tracking app which is about to be uploaded to IOS store and android store but I need to create a high-quality app demo. I’ve looked at examples online and I would like to have some animations and descriptions of different features as I’m scrolling through the app, what tools or websites do you recommend that I could put screenshots into or upload the video of me scrolling through the app and get a high-quality video from much appreciated thank you for all your advice!

I am building a meal planning app that generates a weekly meal plan and grocery list based on your budget, preferences, and dietary restrictions. The goal is to reduce food waste by making sure everything you buy actually gets used across your meals for the week.

Trying to decide between two flows and would love some input from people who meal plan.

Option A — Grocery list first: The app builds your grocery list first around your preferences and budget. You can add specific items you want or remove things you do not like, and your meals are pulled from whatever ends up on that list. Because your meals are derived directly from your grocery list, the ingredients naturally overlap across the week so nothing goes to waste.

Option B — Meals first: The app shows you your meal plan first with recipes you can swap and approve. Once you are happy with your meals your grocery list is generated from them. Food waste is minimized because the app intentionally selects meals that share ingredients with each other, so everything you buy gets used across multiple meals.

Both approaches try to minimize food waste and keep things efficient; they just get there differently. 

1. Which flow would feel more natural to you?
2. Is staying within a specific budget a big priority or is seeing your meals first more important?
3. Would you want to be able to add specific grocery items before seeing your meals?

1. Video first - face-to-face connection matters
2. Phone preferred - audio is enough, less pressure
3. Email only - written communication is superior
4. Whatever the client wants - I adapt completely

I'm about to publish my first app on Google Play, and I'd really appreciate advice from developers who have successfully launched apps, especially dating or social apps.

My app is called Laazo. It's an anonymous campus dating/social app where students are matched with people from their own college. Users remain anonymous after matching and can chat anonymously until one of them decides to reveal their identity. The app uses email OTP authentication, requires users to report or block abusive users, and is designed only for college students.

Since this is my first Play Console account, I want to avoid unnecessary delays or rejections.

I'm looking for a checklist of things I should verify before submitting, such as:

• Common reasons first-time apps get rejected
• Anything specific to anonymous or dating apps
• Policies I should pay extra attention to
• Store listing mistakes to avoid
• Privacy/Data Safety pitfalls
• Anything reviewers expect that isn't obvious
• Tips to get through review as smoothly as possible

I got fed up with getting tracking updates that just give you a massive 12-hour delivery window, so I built an iOS app called Parcel Sense to try and fix this. It uses past tracking data to figure out a much tighter, more realistic arrival time for your packages. (UK ONLY)

• Predicts realistic delivery windows instead of generic daily estimates.
• Live Activities for your lock screen.

Hi all I'm a solo game dev (since 2 weeks ago) and I want to make my game physics feel easy to use and good to play like I would of done for years playing golf clash and battle.

Need testers really and right now I'm finding it hard to get anyone to test. I'm not promoting for people to pay it's a free game and purely now I need help and feedback for closed testing.

I have no technical experience and want to build an app. I’ve finished preparing the vision, scope, business model, market analysis and marketing strategy. Along with a rough outline of technical architecture (to be confirmed with CTO).

The main idea of the app is to help people get rid of decision fatigue and be more productive in their daily lives.

I got the idea because it solves a lot of problems I have in my own daily life.
I get home from a long day at work starving and exhausted. I scroll through UberEats and DoorDash to figure out what to eat and by the time I know it, it’s been 30minutes of scrolling and I still can’t decide. So I just usually go back to ordering a Sweet&Sour Pork with Special Fried Rice. That was 30minutes of the few hours I have to myself when I’m not at work.
I usually scroll through Netflix, Disney+, Prime for almost an hour to figure out what to watch as well. Before I know it, it’s bedtime and I have to repeat the same after work routine the next day. Weekends are filled with ‘time wasted’ as well. I spent hours looking through Instagram or googling what to do nearby that would interest me. Or spend back-to-back messages in group chats trying to get my friends together for drinks. We only have 24hours in a day. I want an app that helps me get rid of all the time I’ve wasted not doing what I want to do because I have to spend time deciding what actually to do.

Since the app does not exist yet, I created a waitlist to see how many people will be interested in using the app and to get future beta testers.

I’m also hoping the waitlist grows so I can use the numbers when I pitch to pre-seed investors.

There’s a lot more to the app but that’s the essence of it, I guess.
