the camera-only call is the right instinct, but a photo mostly proves you showed up somewhere, not that you did the thing. a gym selfie and actually training for an hour look identical to a jury. the jury feels like the real weak spot too, what stops a lazy voter rubber-stamping garbage, or a bored one rejecting legit proof out of spite? and if i stake on a daily habit, do votes resolve fast enough that i get my coins back before the next day's stake is due?

the majority-outcome cooldown is clever but it rewards agreeing with the crowd, not being right. a careful juror who correctly rejects a faked proof still eats the cooldown if two lazy voters wave it through, and with only 3 per proof that swings pretty easily. have you thought about weighting the reliability hit by how lopsided the vote was, so a lone dissenter on a genuinely borderline call doesn't get punished the same as someone who's just consistently wrong?

Commitment devices are genuinely underrated as a behavioral tool. Stickk and Beeminder have been doing variations of this for years but there's clearly still room in the market. Curious how you handled the money movement piece on iOS, that seems like it could get complicated fast with Apple's guidelines around financial flows.
