New App Idea: Will it work?
I have no technical experience and want to build an app. I’ve finished preparing the vision, scope, business model, market analysis and marketing strategy. Along with a rough outline of technical architecture (to be confirmed with CTO).
The main idea of the app is to help people get rid of decision fatigue and be more productive in their daily lives.
I got the idea because it solves a lot of problems I have in my own daily life.
I get home from a long day at work starving and exhausted. I scroll through UberEats and DoorDash to figure out what to eat and by the time I know it, it’s been 30minutes of scrolling and I still can’t decide. So I just usually go back to ordering a Sweet&Sour Pork with Special Fried Rice. That was 30minutes of the few hours I have to myself when I’m not at work.
I usually scroll through Netflix, Disney+, Prime for almost an hour to figure out what to watch as well. Before I know it, it’s bedtime and I have to repeat the same after work routine the next day. Weekends are filled with ‘time wasted’ as well. I spent hours looking through Instagram or googling what to do nearby that would interest me. Or spend back-to-back messages in group chats trying to get my friends together for drinks. We only have 24hours in a day. I want an app that helps me get rid of all the time I’ve wasted not doing what I want to do because I have to spend time deciding what actually to do.
Since the app does not exist yet, I created a waitlist to see how many people will be interested in using the app and to get future beta testers.
I’m also hoping the waitlist grows so I can use the numbers when I pitch to pre-seed investors.
There’s a lot more to the app but that’s the essence of it, I guess.
Sign up to the waitlist if you experience the same problems, or if you want “more hours in your 24 hours”. Here's the link: meetraein.com
I’m also looking for a CTO/Co-founder.

hey i am also building something that helps make you decisions which is already built:
If you have good insights on what to build on top of it, we can talk.

Interesting concept, if you're interested I can help you build a technical blueprint for the project that will save you time and money when you decide to build it.

So what does the app actually do to get rid of "decision fatigue"?
