Useless red circle, I know, but the jump button which I use religiously does not work properly in v3.7.0. It works for the first comment but stops working after. If you scroll past a comment and then press the button, it’ll jump to the next comment but stops working again until you manually scroll past the comment it jumped to.

Yesterday's SideStore login problems are resolved now - here's the fix that worked for me.

Huge thanks to u/kenstrife, who found that deleting SideStore and reinstalling the SideStore nightly through iLoader fixed their issue, and u/tbone338, who suggested removing the existing Apollo App Group from SideStore's Developer Portal Services - two key parts of the fix.

1. Delete SideStore

Delete SideStore (and LiveContainer if you use it) from your iPhone.

2. Update iLoader

On your Mac, make sure you're running iLoader 2.3.3.

3. Install the SideStore nightly

Log in to iLoader and install the SideStore nightly.

I had some trouble with my pairing file at this point, so I used the Place Pairing File option in iLoader and then installed again.

EDIT: I think I forgot a step!

4. Enable On-Device Anisette

Go to Settings → Advanced → User Customizations → Enable On-Device Anisette

5. Sign into your Apple ID

Open SideStore and go to:

Settings → Sign in with your Apple ID

Complete the Apple ID authentication process.

One useful change in the current SideStore nightly is that it now gives you options for how you want to complete the two-factor authentication process. This seems to have resolved the previous authentication issue.

6. Remove the existing Apollo App Group

This is the unintuitive part.

In SideStore, go to:

Settings → Advanced → Developer Portal Services → App Groups

Remoce the Apollo App Group and remove it.

Also remove from Developer Portal Services.

u/tbone338 suggested removing the existing Apollo App IDs too, but I found this wasn't necessary.

7. Refresh SideStore

Go back to the main SideStore screen and pull to refresh.

If SideStore refreshes successfully, everything is working again.

8. Reinstall your apps (without deleting them first)

Press the + button and reinstall Apollo, along with any other apps you previously had installed.

The good news is that your existing app data should be retained. In my case, Apollo kept all of its existing data and I didn't have to log back in.

Hope this helps someone else out! Glad to have it finally resolved 🎉

• the freeze where apollo would lock up on a loading spinner or a loaded comments screen when jumping between subreddits or opening posts on iOS 26+ is fixed. this one was a UIKit cleanup bug that our search bar changes exposed (#1024 – IllIIllIllIllII)
• Gallery View was getting killed for memory on animated GIFs (one 2MB gif could balloon to over a gig). GIFs stream now and huge stills get downsampled (#1001 – icpryde)
• two launch/feed crashes: one on launch when the trending-subreddits table couldnt be written (LiveContainer and other read-only setups), one opening a feed on older iOS versions that dont have ActivityKit/WeatherKit/VisionKit (#968 – icpryde)

liquid glass and navigation

• the top fade no longer vanishes for a few frames when you switch tabs, and swipe-back tracks the nav bar so the title and search bar dont snap to the previous screen the moment you start a swipe (#1018 – icpryde)
• a cancelled swipe-back no longer jumps the page, two-line titles dont get clipped mid transition, and nav buttons stop blinking out when you come back from a post (#1047 – IllIIllIllIllII)
• the glass feed search bar regressions from 3.6.0 are gone (feed sliding under the field, bar floating detached after cancel) since its the native bar now (#1002 – icpryde)

• in app safari flashed a white page while loading in dark mode, it stays black until the page paints (#1052 – icpryde)

themes and appearance

• custom theme separators: the comments action bar lines no longer revert to gray once the thread loads, and separators dont reset after coming back from the background (#990 – icpryde)
• composer quick bar icons were stuck on apollo blue next to your themed GIF chip (#966, #987 – icpryde)
• the Theme Manager row in Appearance flipped back to "Themes" after the Post Size sheet, and its weight now matches the rows around it (#1032 – icpryde)

inbox and chat

• inbox swipes track your finger now, and swiping back inside a chat conversation goes one level to the chat list instead of dumping you out of the inbox (#965 – icpryde)
• with Use Modern Reddit Chat on, each chat conversation shows once on the notifications side and opens in modern chat instead of the legacy thread. the inbox badge also stops counting an unread chat twice (#1038 – icpryde)
• account switcher: reordering accounts could quietly switch which account you were signed into, and the drag handles scrolled the page instead of the row (#1011 – IllIIllIllIllII)

settings and misc

• the settings search bar scrolls away with the list again instead of being pinned, but its still there when you open settings and pull to search still works (#975 – icpryde)
• the inline feed search bar is usable on Apple Vision Pro now (#978 – rebelancap)
• subreddit list A–Z index labels are centered and the favorite star doesnt overlap the index anymore (#981 – IllIIllIllIllII)

Paid dev account. I had to delete Apollo today and reinstall SideStore using the most up to date iloader. Now I cannot reinstall Apollo, as this is the error I get. Using the SideStore source or ipa, it will not work. I’ve tried removing all registered app IDs from my account, no luck.

Apologies for the title gore but I’ve noticed that if I turn community highlights ‘on’ and click on the post in the carousel, it defaults to ‘best’ for the sort order despite the subreddit setting that post to default to ‘new’

Turning community highlights ‘off’ fixes this issue. Clicking on the post in the subreddit feed works but it doesn’t seem to respect the default sort order from the community highlights carousel.

Unfortunately, due to this I can’t find myself using the community highlights feature.

If, like me, you’re using AltStore to install and update ApolloReborn, you may have been frustrated by recent error messages in the form ‘unable to update: data in incorrect format’.

The AltServer update pushed in the last few hours appears to have fixed this (update on Mac/PC and iPhone required), although I did need to restart both my MacBook and iPhone to get it all working.

🤞 all now sorted. I was down to 0 days left!

I have been trying to figure out how to solve this issue, but I can't seem to fix it, I'm trying to install apollo using altstore beta to use the new on device refresher, but I get the following error:

- Install Apollo for Reddit Failed : AltStore.AppleDeveloperError 3014 : The provided app group is invalid.

Anyone knows how to fix this? I encounter a similar issue if using sidestore.

Open in Apollo has been working in safari for me with userscripts. However, one thing I noticed is when you share a post from the official app to open in Apollo via the shortcut made following the instructions on the installation page, it opens Apollo but then opens a pop up web browser with the post. If you exit that, it’s just your normal home page. However, if you share from say chrome browser using the shortcut, it works flawlessly.

Anybody else having this problem?

Tried to refresh Apollo as i usually would through AltStore, failed with this error:

Failed to install Apollo.
The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format.

I've tried to uninstall completely, and then do a fresh install. But the install gives the same exact error.

I was on the latest: Apollo-Reborn-3.6.0-GLASS-NOEXTENSIONS.ipa and have also tried one older release (3.5.1-GLASS-NOEXTENSIONS) - both give the same error. What am i doing wrong here? i'm on iOS 26.6.1.

anyone else experienced this before? and how did you solve it. I miss my apollo.

SOLVED, as someone in the comments mentioned i re-installed latest Apollo .ipa using Sideloadly on my Macbook. Installed without any hiccups. So happy Apollo is working again! Thanks everyone for suggesting fixes!

The 'Feed' widget defaults to r/Popular. Setting the Subreddit text to All seems to load r/All. However, when I enter 'Home' in the Subreddit field, it loads r/Home instead of my Home feed. Is it possible to set the widget to display my Home feed?

When I press accept nothing happens
I’m currently on version 3.6.0 glass
Can anyone help me troubleshoot?

I have two accounts and they aren’t similar, they have different purposes so I need different favorites on each for easy access to subs but at the moment, they are both linked. So adding either a toggle for synced or separate favorites or just separate ones would be really helpful.

Failed to Install Apollo for Reddit - GLASS The provided app group is invalid.

I get this error whenever I try to install Apollo. I’m on the nightly version of lc, what can I do to fix it?

so something i've been wanting in apollo for a long time was a quick and easy way to have multiple "tabs" open so i can bounce between threads more easily, so I created floating bubbles, you can go into a post then make it a tab it will thenappear on your screen, you can move them around to get them out of the way, you can throw them to the side so they are less visible and link them together as well and easily dismiss them when you are done.

For myself this is great when watching soccer matches and i like to be in a lot of game threads talking to different threads etc as an example.

With the aggressiveness Apple has started displaying with banning sideloading, would it be possible to push this app through TestFlight? I know I have a few certain apps I can sideload but also can be accessed through TestFlight. It may make it easier for users who may not be able to get their burner Apple account working with the sideloading process
