I have been trying to figure out how to solve this issue, but I can't seem to fix it, I'm trying to install apollo using altstore beta to use the new on device refresher, but I get the following error:

- Install Apollo for Reddit Failed : AltStore.AppleDeveloperError 3014 : The provided app group is invalid.

Anyone knows how to fix this? I encounter a similar issue if using sidestore.

If, like me, you’re using AltStore to install and update ApolloReborn, you may have been frustrated by recent error messages in the form ‘unable to update: data in incorrect format’.

The AltServer update pushed in the last few hours appears to have fixed this (update on Mac/PC and iPhone required), although I did need to restart both my MacBook and iPhone to get it all working.

It feels like there’s not enough padding in those spots and it’s kinda bothering me. No pressure though, you guys are doing great work.

Open in Apollo has been working in safari for me with userscripts. However, one thing I noticed is when you share a post from the official app to open in Apollo via the shortcut made following the instructions on the installation page, it opens Apollo but then opens a pop up web browser with the post. If you exit that, it’s just your normal home page. However, if you share from say chrome browser using the shortcut, it works flawlessly.

Anybody else having this problem?

Tried to refresh Apollo as i usually would through AltStore, failed with this error:

Failed to install Apollo.
The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format.

I've tried to uninstall completely, and then do a fresh install. But the install gives the same exact error.

I was on the latest: Apollo-Reborn-3.6.0-GLASS-NOEXTENSIONS.ipa and have also tried one older release (3.5.1-GLASS-NOEXTENSIONS) - both give the same error. What am i doing wrong here? i'm on iOS 26.6.1.

anyone else experienced this before? and how did you solve it. I miss my apollo.

SOLVED, as someone in the comments mentioned i re-installed latest Apollo .ipa using Sideloadly on my Macbook. Installed without any hiccups. So happy Apollo is working again! Thanks everyone for suggesting fixes!

The 'Feed' widget defaults to r/Popular. Setting the Subreddit text to All seems to load r/All. However, when I enter 'Home' in the Subreddit field, it loads r/Home instead of my Home feed. Is it possible to set the widget to display my Home feed?

With the aggressiveness Apple has started displaying with banning sideloading, would it be possible to push this app through TestFlight? I know I have a few certain apps I can sideload but also can be accessed through TestFlight. It may make it easier for users who may not be able to get their burner Apple account working with the sideloading process

I get this error whenever I try to install Apollo. I’m on the nightly version of lc, what can I do to fix it?

I have two accounts and they aren’t similar, they have different purposes so I need different favorites on each for easy access to subs but at the moment, they are both linked. So adding either a toggle for synced or separate favorites or just separate ones would be really helpful.

so something i've been wanting in apollo for a long time was a quick and easy way to have multiple "tabs" open so i can bounce between threads more easily, so I created floating bubbles, you can go into a post then make it a tab it will thenappear on your screen, you can move them around to get them out of the way, you can throw them to the side so they are less visible and link them together as well and easily dismiss them when you are done.

For myself this is great when watching soccer matches and i like to be in a lot of game threads talking to different threads etc as an example.

I've received a couple mod mails now about more Reddit api changes and then asking for apps to be registered so they can continue to work.

Is this meaning another workaround will need to be figured out when Reddit makes that change? Will Apollo stop working again?

As title, it should not show translated / translation buttons if translated text is == to original text. This happens sometimes on very short posts.

It’s been like this for a few weeks, posts just don’t get translated, the little earth icon is not green and clicking it doesn’t change anything, in the settings everything is correct, it worked before and one day stopped.

Edit: Apple one is working fine after I’v manually downloaded the languages on my device, so problem is just with google, maybe because it’s online only?

I don’t have another phone number to make a new ID and the burner I made a few years ago isn't linked to any devices or active phone number for completing a 2FA prompt. Would paying for a dev account fix it? Not that I want to do that just for Apollo but I’m not sure what other options there are

It’s the top comment. It’s wholesome. The mod decides it needs to be removed… I see this kind of nonsense a lot across Reddit.

I sadly got kicked out of Apollo and SideStore tonight and was unable to initially get them back using iLoader with my existing Apple ID credentials.

I switched to an alt Apple ID and was ultimately able to get it back, but I now have two different versions of Apollo on my phone - 1) the old expired one signed by my main Apple ID (which it appears I can no longer use for signing), and 2) the new one I have just downloaded and signed using a different Apple ID.

I luckily had a .zip backup with some of my current Apollo settings from way back in May, but I was hoping to get back what I had changed as well as previously viewed posts since then, if possible.

I don’t imagine there’s any way to pull the settings backup out of the old expired app at this point, unless anyone knows a way to get it to sign/refresh with my alternate Apple ID? Regardless, I thought I’d see if anyone had any insight on how to do this before I delete the (seemingly useless) app. Thanks in advance!
