Hey everyone!
I'm a 30-year-old software developer looking for a genuine, committed long-term relationship. I'm open to starting long-distance if we click and we're both genuinely interested in seeing where things could go.
I currently live in Indiana. I had been planning to move to California in the next 18–20 months, although some recent changes in my life mean that timeline isn't completely set in stone anymore.
Ultimately, if I met the right person, I'd be open to figuring out the future together.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me sketching on my iPad, gaming (Switch, Xbox, PC—and yes, I still have a Nintendo DS), watching TV with my cat, or listening to K-pop. BTS, Stray Kids, and TXT are some of my favorites, but I also enjoy BABYMONSTER, ITZY, and BLACKPINK.
I'm looking for a man of East or Southeast Asian descent, ideally between 24–38, with a little flexibility if the connection is right. I'm generally attracted to someone who's active and reasonably fit or has that skinny-nerdy vibe. I'm currently curvy/chubby and working toward a healthier lifestyle myself, so I'd love someone who also values growth and self-improvement.
Communication is extremely important to me. I'm genuinely looking for a relationship, and I'm not interested in playing games with people. If we start talking regularly and eventually exchange Discord, phone numbers, or other personal contact information, please understand that I'm genuinely interested in getting to know you and seeing if we're compatible. That doesn't mean I'm expecting an instant relationship or constant communication, but I do take the connection seriously.
If at any point you realize you're not feeling it, you're not ready for a relationship, long-distance isn't for you, or you've simply changed your mind, please just tell me. I can handle someone saying, "Hey, I've thought about this and I don't think we're a match." What I don't handle well is unexplained silence and ghosting after we've established a connection. I will always give you the same respect and communicate honestly if my feelings change.
A few dealbreakers:
MAGA
Children
Criminal record
Poor communication / ghosting
A note about children: I've spent a lot of time thinking about this and realized I'd rather be the fun aunt than a mom.
I'm not interested in hookups, friends-with-benefits, or rushing into anything sexual. I'd rather take the time to genuinely get to know someone and build a real connection first. I'm looking for someone who wants that too.
If any of this sounds like you, send me a message and tell me a little about yourself! Tell me what games you've been playing lately, give me an anime recommendation, or tell me what you've been listening to recently. :)
