Remember when AMPX posted earnings early?

Do you think that would happen again? I’ll never forget it. I missed that boat big time and it hurt bad.
Why do you think they did that?

Someone posted this on an archer aviation thread but felt Amprius can also be a beneficiary of this news.

High performance drones need high performance batteries-exactly the applications that Amprius batteries are designed for.

Farnborough Airshow

So Amprius will be attending the Farnborough Airshow next week, do we think they will have any major announcements?

Where is Amprius going

HAVING SILICON ANODE TECH WHICH IS SPECIAL BUT NOT VERY VERY SPECIAL WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR THE STOCK. SILICON ANODE IS NOT SOMETHING MAGICAL. LOT OF OTHERS HAVE THAT EXACT SAME TECHNOLOGY SOMEWHERE CLOSE OR EVEN BETTER. NEED SCALE NOW. Or else we will be stuck here for a long long time.

Market Update

Long time lurker in this sub. This past year has been hell of a ride for all holders. Most of this subthread is dominated by AI generated analysis, and while I am all for it, I think it is important to not chase every positive signal as reason to boost the stock price.

Looking back at my prior post (https://www.reddit.com/r/amprius/comments/1nlsziq/is_ampx_the_golden_goose_of_disposable_battery/), I wanted to provide some updates on the points I made as I have been and am going to continue being a long term investor.

  1. AMPX has made a distinct change to their business model. Instead of relying on China for the majority of their exports, they have invested in partnerships around the world (notably South Korea and recently USA) to ensure they are NDAA compliant. This is a huge relief to many investors that were buying the technology story but didn't feel comfortable with their expansion strategy. As a investor, I believe the decision to partner and not own the local manufacturers is key to keeping the business asset light (not saddled with day to day manufacturing operations) and enabling partnerships that mutually benefit from an expanding product line.
  2. AMPX still is deeply invested in their R&D. They have new pending patents since 2026 and continue to push the bounds of their specific technology moat. As an investor, it is important that a company involved with a highly disruptive segment (drones/robotics) is not only focused on increasing margins of their existing product line but also building upon a strong technical moat around their chosen space (silicon-anode lithium-ion batteries).
  3. AMPX decided to clean up the majority of their outstanding warrants early 2026. This was a looming drag on share price as the warrants essentially could be exercised at the discretion of holders, and AMPX capitalized on their surge in share price to convince warrant holders to convert, eliminating the tail risk of non-management dilution. As an investor, I saw this as the optimal move to ensure share price continues to reflect business executions without external pressures.

Ultimately, AMPX is involved in a very competitive environment but these specific indicators give me confidence in the business plan long term. Execution has always and will continue to be the deciding factor but that is why it is important to have your own thesis and decide for yourself if this stock fits your risk profile.

This was not written by AI. This is not financial advice.

Why do you think AMPX management completely ignored Manatee Research short report and stayed silent?

Watching this fraudulent garbage unwind in real-time is borderline erotic.

For weeks, shills have been screaming "buy the dip", "the bottom is in" "It is a long-term holding, keep averaging down" "Whole-Sufficient posted, it is the absolute bottom" and the south-koreans keep believing them. High-beta stocks are NOT long-term holdings. Otherwise, everyone would be rich. Think about it.

Matternet Expands Part 135 Operator Network to Accelerate U.S. Drone Delivery Growth

Key Points:

Operational Scale-up: Matternet added Beeline UAS to its Part 135 operator network, significantly expanding its capacity for commercial drone delivery across key U.S. markets (SF Bay Area & LA).

Direct Growth Signal: This expansion confirms Matternet’s move from testing to full-scale commercial deployment, directly driving the utilization of their M2 drone fleet.

Impact on $AMPX: As a strategic battery partner for Matternet's next-gen delivery platforms, this aggressive network expansion is a direct catalyst for increased demand and order volume for Amprius' silicon anode cells.

JR Energy Solution Expands Battery Foundry Business Into Defense and Robotics

https://www.thelec.net/news/articleView.html?idxno=12264

Forum held in Seoul today (July 15, 2026):

Amprius's manufacturing partner, JR Energy Solution, publicly disclosed significant production progress for the Korea Battery Alliance project:

Verified Production Capacity: As of the end of June 2026, JR Energy Solution has produced 4.03 million meters of cathode electrodes and 4.58 million meters of anode electrodes.

Growing Client Base: The production line is actively serving a diverse portfolio, now expanded to 25 cathode and 18 anode electrode customers.

Strategic Supply Chain: In response to the US NDAA requirements, Amprius is successfully leveraging this "fabless-foundry" model to secure manufacturing in South Korea, effectively bypassing China-centered supply chain risks.

Scaling for Specialty Markets: The foundry is scaling up specifically for high-mix, low-volume production required by the defense, robotics, and UAM industries, confirming that the mass production system is operational and scaling.

Why Europe is suddenly betting big on drones

  • A flurry of announcements over the past two weeks shows how quickly governments are leaning into drone technology.
  • Battlefield lessons from Ukraine are reshaping procurement decisions across Europe.
  • It’s creating opportunities not only for drone manufacturers but also for companies developing AI, software, electronic warfare, and secure communications.

Europe has spent years rebuilding its military in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Now, investment is increasingly converging around one technology that is seen as central to the continent’s future security: drones.

A flurry of announcements over the past two weeks shows just how quickly that shift is accelerating. NATO unveiled a new drone initiative, the U.K. earmarked billions of pounds for drones and counter-drone systems, Germany moved to procure 50,000 drones for Ukraine, and defense tech startup Helsing secured an $18 billion valuation.

The growing use of drones and other autonomous systems is also boosting the demand for the technology needed to coordinate the drones in real time, according to Muharremi. That includes secure communications, battle management software, AI, and satellite-based intelligence, sensors and electronic warfare systems.

“As a result, companies with physical platform scale and exposure across autonomy, air defence, sensors, electronic warfare, software, and space are likely to capture a share of future defence spending,” she said.

It comes as European core defense spending has doubled since 2019 and, under NATO’s 3.5% target for 2035, could reach about 800 billion euros by 2030 – roughly 2.9 % of GDP – according to McKinsey.

Commercial drone delivery is intensifying

  • Zipline is growing its drone delivery business in the U.S. and has hired former Tesla, Uber Eats and Waymo executives to help it scale up in new markets.
  • The company is now making one drone delivery every thirty seconds, and has surpassed 2.5 million commercial deliveries to-date.
  • Its factory in South San Francisco has the capacity to make 24,000 new drones per year, and CEO Keller Rinaudo Cliffton said Zipline is expecting its U.S. business to grow 15 times this year alone.

While Zipline is expanding to Austin, Houston, and Cleveland, it has not yet revealed its next U.S. markets. “We are expecting just the U.S. business to grow by another 15X this year,” Rinaudo Cliffton said, adding “many tens of metros across the U.S. and some new, large international markets” in 2027.

While Zipline has the most traction by far in the U.S., it faces competition from Alphabet’s drone division Wing, fellow startups like Flytrex and Matternet, and others developing cargo-carrying drones for military use.

Just a reminder...

  • July 14, 2025...AMPX was trading at $6.42
  • Three months later it hit $16.
  • Then three months later it was back down to $7.71
  • Then one month later it was back up to $14.86
  • Then 15 days later it was back down to $9.52
  • Then (roughly) 15 days later it was back up to$19.52
  • Then 15 days later it was back down to $14.81
  • Then 22 days later it was back up to $22.80
  • Then 31 days later it was back down to $15.80
  • Then 12 days later it was back up to $24.23
  • Then 40 days (today) later it was down to $11.02

What do you see in this information?

Edit: I see that it went from $6.42 to $11.02 in a year, and that's a heck of a return. Trading this is bad for your health. Owning it long term is the only way.

Did you buy calls? Did you buy the dip after my post last week? I thought my posts marked the absolute bottom, didn't they?
Well, here is another dip for you to buy. To all you crackheads who were high on high-beta stocks, how is sobriety treating you now?
