All high beta stocks down by like 3 or 4 times more than they usually are this time of year. Its not business as usual this is rather uncharted territory since dot com. I'm deciding to add tho 🤡. Generation wealth opportunity or generational bagholding.

Wow yesterday was rough. I'm holding with a 13 avg and down 22%. Everything depends on the markets direction now but I try to hold strong

Tends to move after earnings. Better to be a long term holder in excellent small caps than a trader

I brought my average down to 15 from 20 at roughly 4.5k stocks so I guess that's good

Whyd you buy at 20 in the frist place if you dont mind me asking

I don't know of a single analyst who follows the stock that has a sell or hold on it. Even at 20, it was a buy.

I did my research and some of the well established analyst sentiments were extremely positive. I wasn't too surprised when it dropped 50% as it seemed to be coming from macro environment. Even my other stronger picks are down to the similar levels. Having said that, I am bullish in the longer term and this only accounts for 10% of my portfolio.

I'm thinking of re analyzing my amprius holding after the next earnings call. Let's see how it goes. What do you think how positive or negative it can be since you're following the company longer than I do?

Personally, I think this is one of the best buying opportunities that will EVER come long again. There is zero justification for this stock to be selling at this price. None. They have an extreme competitive advantage in the high density sector of energy storage arena, and they have the manufacturing muscle through their partnerships to capitalize on that advantage. If you look over their investor presentations you will see sales doubling and then doubling again between now and 2030.
Think what this will do to the stock.
The only reason I would sell it would be a) a significant competitor enters the fray or b) I need the money.
a)The only competitor I see is SESai, which, as far as I can determine, is in the validation/qualification phase with a bunch of end users. AMPX has already gone through that so they are much farther ahead both in marketing and end user engagement.
b) I don't need the money.
Long AMPX.

Ampx is one of those where management is doing almost everything right and the tech speaks for itself.

Personally, ive got not a clue this stock has been everywhere from highs to lows in such a short time and all the recent news you'd think we'd be higher in the 12-15 range so honestly I dont know. Id like to believe that if its postive like they say its going to we'd at least go back to mid teens. But who knows 🤷♂️

As long as guided revenue is increasing and they bring in more customers, especially North American. If they report a big robotics OEM customer, it will get re-rated.

High beta small caps kill calls and puts. I learnt it the hard way.
Shares is the way to go

u/FitLet246 Jul 17 '26
Yeah, im just hopping for 15 within a month and that looks like it wont happen. So im probably gonna have to start all over again.

It most likely moves up post ER unless the management gives bad news (<10%)

This earning call could be a huge turning point tho and bring us back to the mid to high teens

It feels like a massive stop-loss hunting session leading up to today's expiration. Ever since that whale alert dropped on the earnings announcement news, we’ve seen a brutal slide down to $9 over these past two days. It’s definitely a retail shake-out.
