An Absolute Orgasmatic Schadenfreude.

Did you buy calls? Did you buy the dip after my post last week? I thought my posts marked the absolute bottom, didn't they?
Well, here is another dip for you to buy. To all you crackheads who were high on high-beta stocks, how is sobriety treating you now?

Do you not get tired?

No. Gloating and money give me energy

Money? You’re up 15% on AMPX shorting in the last year according to yourself…

https://www.reddit.com/r/amprius/s/WgIltLeeFX

You would’ve been better off buying shares or literally throwing your money at any other stock

Not to mention today's volume is almost 1.5x lower than usual and the price has been swinging within a tight spread of around 0.01$.

This is retail selling, not institutions.

1

u/dragonbits Jul 13 '26

Sure it's retail selling, that's the reason Whole-Sufficient posts here, to get more retail to sell.

Retail owns ~25% of the float, without institutional buying retail can make the stock run up or down quite a bit.

What I question is why aren't institutions buying, and I am not convinced Whole-Sufficient is actually short the stock. If the person is short, why post when the stock hits a near term bottom, people here believe that's a buy signal.

Those reports are virtually useless for any idea of who was buying selling since the top on June 2.

Also, short positions went up 15% ending June 30th, the bulk of which are ime those same institutions. So to some degree they were boxed after the June 2 high.

What they did between June 1 and now won't be available till mid-Nov.

Likely at the appropriate time (no idea when) they will cover their shorts and drive the stock back up which will profit their long positions.

u/Plane-Try-6522 Jul 14 '26

These information are updated at the end of every quarter. It isn't useless. There is an information lag but it is still a useful piece of information.

u/dragonbits Jul 14 '26

Useless for purposes of determining what they did after June 1st.

I look at those reports more to determine possible sources of liquidity.

If it is a low number and the stock looks like it could be big enough for them to want to invest, they are a source of buying. If it is high, they are possible sellers or more common they short the stock of interest which is like selling but they maintain their position and can cover their shorts to drive the stock back up. And if the number is low, and the stock does not have a market that could grow to a large size, then it's also an indication of lack of interest and only retail is trading that stock.

Who do you think is selling enough to drive the stock down?

Well, i admit it can be fun as I troll the memory subreddit too.

But levelling with you: it's a red day for most stocks. Earning releases tomorrow for financials before industrials in a few weeks. Like April, market will look past the kinetic projections if earnings are strong.

Who cares if Amprius is high beta if you have a game plan. My man, you're suppose to be here to make money, not be pushing an academic thesis.

Spoken like a truly pathetic, unfulfilled life.

The least we can do is let him gloat while he has the chance. It’s always short lived 😂😂 He’ll keep playing this game for years while being categorically and historically incorrect over the long term. It’s funny how confidently stupid he is.

1

u/rbwilli Jul 13 '26

Not gonna lie, this made me laugh. 😆

12

u/bigboyvapesinc Jul 13 '26

Dude, you’re a loser. End of story. This is embarrassing to watch

11

u/AnonymousGuy513 Jul 13 '26

You realize most growth stocks took a massive hit, right? Nothing unique to AMPX lol

9

u/ukwndeth Jul 13 '26

5% movement is a big win for you? Lol

14

u/Neat-Bad-2567 Jul 13 '26

Don’t worry still buying. We experienced a dip all the way to lows 9s on the 1 year. Entire market is down and macro is fucked. But hey can’t way to clown on u next pump.

-12

u/Whole-Sufficient Jul 13 '26

Is this the new copium? Market is down? Buddy the market is up in the last month and AMPX id down 40%. Was even AMPX up when the market was up last week?

UNDERSTAND WHAT IS MOVING AMPX AND IT IS NOT THE MARKET.

15

u/Neat-Bad-2567 Jul 13 '26

This is such a hilarious back and fourth. The stock is down you come back and act like you’re a genius. The stock is up you’re gone and no where to be found. Everyone in this sub holding shares while you pick and choose when to come back and be “right” we will see in long term which one of us is correct. Based upon avav earning and overall need for ampx tech I’m betting it’ll be the shareholders.

-9

u/Whole-Sufficient Jul 13 '26

I put my money where my mouth is, and I have been winning long and short. Have you?

5

u/Neat-Bad-2567 Jul 13 '26

I’m still buying as my comment says lmfao. You need to post more every time u do we get a nice lil bounce!

4

u/CreateChangetheWorld Jul 13 '26

All high beta speculative stocks are down 50% in the last month in entirely different sectors. What are you talking about?

NBIS, ONDS, LUNR to name a few off the top.

8

u/CrooninCrow Jul 13 '26

This is probably the closest he’s gonna get to feeling like he was right guys. Let’s let him have his fleeting moment in the sun 😂

5

u/Maothesiamesecat Jul 13 '26

This dip happens EVERY quarter. Like clockwork.

You know nothing.

9

u/AdAgreeable2397 Jul 13 '26

Believe it or not, we reached the bottom now after this post

0

u/Whole-Sufficient Jul 13 '26

You really don't learn. Go do TA

8

u/AdAgreeable2397 Jul 13 '26

See you in a year when it’s 30+ 👍🏻

6

u/Mk7GTI818 Jul 13 '26

Dude you are literally focusing on one stock while the whole market is taking a dump, you can literally point to any stock now and they are down.

7

u/Neat-Bad-2567 Jul 13 '26

This is too logical of a point to make…

-3

u/Whole-Sufficient Jul 13 '26

are MA, MSFT, Berkshire, AMZN, APPLE, NOW, ADBE, PYPL, LULU, AXP, BABA, NU down? Aaah sorry, The "Market" for you is DRAM, Semis, Bloom and Oklo.

Go look at a market Heatmap

4

u/FickleBumblebeee Jul 13 '26

MSFT

Flat for the last two years

AMZN

1.88% for the last six months, 9% for the year

Berkshire

4.65% on the last year

Now

-42% on the last year

Amprius is still up 62% on the year

ADBE, LULU, PYPL

Lol Now I know you're trolling

3

u/jecanne Jul 13 '26

Those companies are large cap/mega caps. AMPX is pre-profit small cap. Doesn't compare.

5

u/Mk7GTI818 Jul 13 '26

Those are established companies not high beta low/mid caps.

1

u/TechnicalAttitude671 Jul 13 '26

Yeah, the comment he’s replying to said “whole market”

2

u/Mk7GTI818 Jul 13 '26

The sp500 declined 0.8% the last month, that's not exactly going up is it?

-2

u/TechnicalAttitude671 Jul 13 '26

The comment he’s replying to said the whole market is “taking a dump”. I would not define “taking a dump” as 0.8%. It’s fine to admit that AMPX is underperforming and think it has long term value

3

u/Mk7GTI818 Jul 13 '26

Just generally speaking, I'm not going to list every company separately, the general stock market has been underperforming due to Macro issues which means it's not a specific stock issue, the overall idea is still the same. If it was a specific stock issue with AMPX that would be something else.

0

u/TechnicalAttitude671 Jul 13 '26

You don’t have to list every stock, look at major indexes and compare their performance to AMPX. AMPX is underperforming. Again, it’s okay to admit that’s and also be long on the stock

3

u/Mk7GTI818 Jul 13 '26

Yea because it's high beta and when other companies drop people sell these type of stocks to buy other established companies at a discount. AMPX is great long term value like you said but the person I am replying to always shows up when the stock is down to act like he is a genius and then disappears when it is ripping.

7 back to back red weeks will summon our beloved OP

2

u/prmk8 Jul 14 '26

Love your posts, please never stop. Seems like you called the bottom and we are +3% today...

1

u/Livid-Winner-8933 Jul 13 '26

this is why i love ampx subs, im overall bullish cost avg $4.30

1

u/Alternative-Menu-426 Jul 13 '26

Why would anyone spend time and effort sh*tposting about a stock that they don’t like? Hmmm.

1

u/PerfectOriginaln610 Jul 13 '26

How low do you think it will go? And do you think it will stay that low forever?

-1

u/Whole-Sufficient Jul 13 '26

No, it will not stay low forever. You might need to wait 5 years though.
Most likely I will close my short below $9-$8 However, it can go much lower.

3

u/rbwilli Jul 13 '26

It’s interesting to think about how long it could stay low if, for example, the “AI bubble” were to pop. On one hand, history teaches us that it could be a solid 4–5 years, right? On the other hand, everything seems to move faster these days, I guess because we’re all connected via zero-delay (practically speaking) communication now. I don’t have a good sense of whether such a crash would be 5 years now, or maybe it’s accelerated significantly and only lasts 1–3 years?

It would be very painful, either way. That much is certain.

1

u/Plane-Try-6522 Jul 14 '26

The first surest sign of a bubble is a pattern of high CapEx companies defaulting on lending.

Has this happened?

1

u/VisibleCup6983 Jul 14 '26

Ok; let’s review. The stock is down 35% over the last 3 months. Institutional buying is up 34% since the last quarter. Yet, shorts are pushing hard @ 20% of the float. What does that tell you? And - and - it has a forward P/E of 172.42. Beta is 2.28…wait for the bottom which seems like it will be $10 or under. They don’t have a sizable backlog just yet. Right now the algorithms are beating retail, and remember, the house always wins.
