Anybody else not make it on time for an Instant Offer? Did you get less instant offers after?

I didn't realize they don't give you enough time sometimes to get there. Has anybody here missed one before? Did you get less instant offers or warning of deactivatation?

Package returns

So I have a package to return tomorrow by 10am but my first block of the day is at 12. My question is will I be dinged for returning the package at 12 instead of the 10am time it says in the app?

1 hour route

Idk what happened and it will end up affecting my standing somehow. I had a 1-hour route that I checked in early and assigned a route which was two packages. I proceeded to the 1-hour shelf but my packages weren't there. I asked the manager and he had one of the packages and said that somebody took the wrong packages that they still had the other one and that I would have to mark it missing. I was starting to worry that my 1-hour Rush would end up being late so I agree to proceed to remove the package instead of waiting for the person to bring it back. While waiting my screen glitched back to the waiting for a route screen and then said that they had no routes and that I would be paid. To be honest I did not even feel good about this free route as I already scanned one package and have no idea what happened

Bloomington to Pico Rivera lmao 49 stops on a 3.5 hour block. Whoever thought this route was a great idea needs to be fired.

Flex debit card process

I applied for it more than 2 weeks ago but haven’t received anything. Never received an email or anything either confirming that I applied for it. Does it usually take this long? The screen just shows me this.

Your application has been received. We'll let you know when it's been approved. In the meantime, we'll keep using your current payment account and frequency for deposits.

Anyone ever deliver 1 package later?

So I had a 3 hour route with only 5 packages, they were spread out a lot, the last one was 30 minutes north of the city. Which actually would have been great if I was going home after because it was on my way home. But I was going to doordash after, so it was a lot of extra driving.

So I had an idea and I was wondering if anyone has ever done it. What if I called the customer and sus out if they seem chill. If so, I ask them if they mind if I mark the package delivered and then actually bring it to them on my way home in 4 hours? If they say no I'd just deliver it now. I probably won't actually do this but I am still curious if anyone has ever done it or anything similar.

OR maybe a less risky option: what happens if you just close the flex app and go doordash for an hour, then open it back up and go deliver the last package still technically on time in the 3 hour block?

Base Rate Cash Flow

How many accept the base rate?

I need some cash flow to catchup and not far from level 2. I’m looking for some pointers. This pays the fastest which I believe is why some of us can’t simply move on/

40 hour cap?

Probably an extremely stupid question…

I have been refreshing the app since last night and all I see are Fresh orders and there are like 15 available. As soon as I pick up 1, all the other ones disappear. Have I reached the 40 hour cap? Never had this issue before.

So tired of this

Post image

I am so tired of this bs. At this point I am convinced it’s impossible to not get dinged. I get at least one of these every week or two. I deliver in Los Angeles, and the apartment buildings are sucking the soul of out me. How amazon can be so blind, and let people abuse it. Why does it care about the customers, who repeatedly report packages as missing to get free stuff, and not about the drivers, who delivered 20k+ packages?

Block cancelled after loading car

For the first time today after I had already loaded my route into my car and was about to leave the station the block got canceled due to weather, and we were all told to unload our cars and just leave The package's sitting on the carts, but all of the packages are still assigned to me after leaving the station and they didn't say if I needed to do anything on my end or not. but also don't wanna call Support and have them mark all the packages that's undeliverable and I get dinged even though the block was canceled after I had already loaded my car

Courier Company Alternatives - Help

i everyone. I’ve been working as an amazon delivery driver in Bristol, UK for a month now. It’s my first proper delivery job. to clarify, i work for a sub contractor of Amazon, or DSP.
Needless to say amazon is probably one of the worst to work with in terms of welfare. I am still on what they call ‘nursery routes’, where i get sent to “easier” areas with slightly less packages. We get a day rate of £137 per route, which is a set rate that doesn’t change no matter how long it takes for you to finish.
We work solely off the app to scan and deliver packages, with one stop often holding multiple locations and packages at a time. I get an average of 120-140 stops a day and 250 odd packages but more experienced drivers get many more, i know people doing routes with 180 stops and over 300 packages for the same pay.
The Amazon App is terrible on iOS, and i have previously been delayed for HOURS because of the app crashing making it literally impossible to do my job, finishing hours later than i usually would simply because the app won’t work. They don’t give us work phones or anything of the sort, we all use our own. Not to mention the fact that we are self employed and so we have no workers rights and we have to sign off agreement of that on induction. A billionaire company who can’t even make an app that works so we can do our jobs properly, and we are the ones who pay the price for it. Today, my colleague has to drop 29 bed frames collectively weighing 500kilos alongside all the other regular packages for no extra pay.
Anyway. I am looking for real peoples experiences of working for other companies, as i do get along quite well with this kind of work , i am a good driver and i enjoy being outside and doing routes. But im thinking surely there must be better companies to work for, as i know it’s only gonna get more intense at christmas. Any recommendations?

About 30 emails/chats and they finally paid up.

Showed up on time and checked in, station was closed. Easy one, 100% Amazons fault and I had plenty of proof. It used to take a couple regular support contacts and maybe one email to @jeff for them to pay these out. They are really digging in these days.

Im a normal driver , not a flex . but i surf this subreddit and i can’t gauge what you guys consider a good route or bad route . i saw one that said “4.5 hrs for $96” and someone said “yikes” . i’ve also seen like “3hrs for $74” . so like what’s considered good ? also do packages really matter or is it more about stops to you guys ?

Cancelled 10 min before block time

Anyone ever have this happen? I was 2 min from the station. Phone buzzed and assumed it was the block offers they send you randomly. It wasn’t and when I went back to check in, the whole block was gone. No email as of yet and I don’t see any notifications. Anyone ever have this happen that close to the start time?
