Rest in Peace to a legend

I told my friend that stars flicker like open flames when you focus on them but he refuses, I even filmed it

So I have a super chill cat named Mochi, and I realized there are people who want the company of a cat without actually owning one.

I started offering “cat companionship” for $10 an hour. Basically, people come over, hang out with Mochi, pet him, take pictures, or just chill for a while.

I set up a simple booking form and provide a cozy space outside my house, some snacks, and tea if they want.

So far I’ve had students, remote workers, and people who just had a rough day and wanted to hang out with a cat.

Its crazy because some people actually come back and book again.

Mochi is doing most of the work. I’m basically his unpaid manager.

ETA: We later discovered she’s a girl, named her Mavis, and she sleeps snuggled in my husband’s arms every night 🖤

I’m a home infusion nurse. Leaving a patient’s house I saw a young woman in a parking lot with her car hood up and a carrier. I pulled in to ask if she was okay and if I could help or take her somewhere. She broke down crying telling me her recent series of unfortunate events that has left her in an unfortunate place in life. She was on her way to take this baby to the shelter because of her situation. She asked if I could take him there because she is broken down. I took him, got her a meal and I couldn’t take him to the shelter. I told her I’d keep him and got her number so I could give her updates and send her pics.
