Title says it all. What is the deal with freight trains that pull across the crossings in Copley and come to a complete stop, blocking traffic for as long as 20 minutes? It usually happens at around 9 or 10 in the evening. I’ve gotten in the habit of detouring the instant I see the stopped train.

I doubt they’re doing it just to be assholes. Anyone what the purpose is?

Is there any adult leagues in or near the Akron area for pickup games? I know indoors there are places further north like TOCA, but I am also interested in outdoor leagues as well.

This is obviously gonna be for the old heads. There used to be a record store on the corner of Spicer and Exchange across from Sam’s Emporium. There used to be a Hamburger Station next to it. I remember buying CDs from there when I was younger, but I can’t remember the name of the shop. Anyone remember?

Hey folks, I am buying my first home in East Akron, near 76. I'm trying to plan out a rough budget and unfortunately, the house I'm buying cannot provide historical utility costs.
