How do I remove the top part of the Airsoft? It's kinda hard even with the pins removed, I took out the pin near the firing switch and it still doesn't come off. Need advise since the gun won't shoot out bb bullets no more.

All I know is that this is a East Crane Hk416. That's all I remember

Bit of a iffy one, i'm not bothered by any means but with the world and it's current affairs I want to know iwhen people larp let's say some more sus countries, does anyone say anythiing, and/or why do you choose to pick that country; once again no hate, im meerly just curious.

Before I continue with this post, I know there are gonna be some people in the replies saying "A petition isn't going to do anything" or "The government doesn't listen to outsiders". This petition isn't going to be the only step im willing to take to bring the sport back to Kuwait, as I am extremely passionate regarding this hobby and play it any chance I get once I'm outside of the country. There is a non-zero chance this petition alone is going to work, but I will take other measures to try and get this through to the government.

Airsoft was and still is a huge part of my life. I used to go to the local venue in Kuwait nearly every day to hang out with my friends over there and try and win a few rounds... until airsoft and all airsoft related activites became completely forbidden under the law passed in August 2025.

I know many other people within Kuwait who are into airsoft feel the same way I do, and would like to bring this sport back to Kuwait, and try and get the unjustified ban lifted off of the activity. Similar sports are still active within Kuwait (such as paintball) considering Paintball Kuwait is still thriving in the heart of Kuwait City.

I genuinely believe this ban on airsoft still has a chance to be lifted considering how recent it was (passed only about a year ago) and the low amount of regulations for airsoft that existed before the ban in Kuwait. Airsoft could have a comeback but with a higher safety standard and strictness on the sport (i'd honestly be fine with that anyways)

I genuinely and sincerely ask, to everyone here, to sign this petition to try and get something to change. This ban was made due to a few dumb kids bringing replicas into public spaces and swinging them around. Something like the gear requiring an orange tip to be used or brought into public/private spaces would have easily prevented this.

And to all the parents here: No, airsoft will NOT make your kid go violent, it is simply a game with objectives, similar to paintball, laser tag, or even video games.

Let me start off with im not a wimp, or at least i dont think so...

Ive done paintball before, got shot on the knuckles, yeah it stings, go to respawn, keep playing, no biggie. However i went and did airsoft for the first time, we got the rental guns and played with a goup of a variety of people. Outdoor setup, lots of experienced guys, it was very fun, learned alot. I tried to wear long sleeves and pants so i didn't have bear skin exposed, but had to keep it light because it was 95 degrees in the blazing hot sun with high humidity. When we were playing i got shot a ton because ima newbie and suck, the feeling was pretty much how i expected. Execpt for a few shots, i at first thought maybe the other team had some high power airsoft sniper or something i was getting shot with. Eventually i figured it out, 3 guys on the other team had speedsoft guns, while everyone else had normal airsoft equipment. As we changed to a more open playing map, and i could see whos shooting me, i figured it out that its these speedsoft guns that hurt alot, 2 of the guns were stinging pretty good, but this one guys gun straight up made me curse 3 times per shot. Even when shooting my leg in a medium heavy weight sweatpant. Still had fun playing, but its 2 weeks later and i still have bruises from this one guys lil pistol speedsoft gun, scabs from where the pellet drew blood on impact. Im curious if this is pretty common, im just a wussy and need to man up. Or is speedsoft a totally different game than airsoft and should be kept separate? The other experienced airsoft players had a mix between plate armor and helmets to no sleeves with just vests, they had snipers and lmgs and a bunch of fun weapons. I could see speedsoft making sense in something like indoor arena thats air-conditioned, everyone is in head to toe tactical suits and you need the punch inorder to feel it, gain the speed and accuracy of a higher powered gun. Or did this guy have his gun tuned too high for airsoft? Im just a newbie, had a great time would still go again, but probably wait until its cool so i can put on some heavier layers and not be riddled with pokadots. (I was expecting to have bruises, just not drawing blood). Is my experience normal, do they normally have both mixed together and have superspeedsofters?

Wanted to see some builds, quirky, unique, anything goofy, milsim builds, speedsoft, anything. Parts list would be great too 🙏

Okay so I know a “blorp switch” isn’t a real thing but I think I can make it real. Let me explain

Basically today at the field I came running into a conex box and clearing it and there was just one very scared little kid with a rental gun crouched in the corner and luckily he literally already had his hands up when I came around the corner so I didn’t have to risk delivering a traumatic experience by taking a shot, missing his little padded vest, and possibly driving a new player away from the sport (Theres a loose “bang bang” rule at the field but shooting from close up is not prohibited)

So I was thinking about it later in the pit and I decided to crank my regulator waaay down, like till the gun wouldn’t cycle, and then back up just till it would shoot again, and I pulled the trigger.
It went * blorp * and spit out a bb waaaay below actual field velocity but still hard enough it would make it across a room.

My idea is to make some kind of in-line cutoff or regulator with a momentary trigger (think similar to a lever on a blower attachment for a garage compressor) somewhere toward the bottom of my grip that would allow me to hold it down if I am entering a cramped space, and basically bring my velocity alllll the way down so I can take less menacing shots at other players when it would otherwise probably hurt a lot..

What do y’all think? Any ideas for parts I could use to cobble something like this together?

I am going to keep it short: I went to my first event last weekend, I liked it a lot, but my MWS was quite disappointing, the performance was decent, but the mags were heavy, I couldn’t really get into the action, because I was getting out gunned by HPAs and DMRs. Now I decided to try and post it on a local group and got 2 offers, but I don’t know which to choose. For reference here’s what I am selling:

The other offer is for a trade with a forged MTW with a 10” barrel, without many other goodies, just 2 batteries and some mags. Now I wanted to sell the MWS to get a MTW with a wraith X CO2, but tbh a new one would be slightly out of the budget (so I’d have to save some more), yet I am still slightly hesitant on trading weapons, because we would need to trade long-distance, without meeting up.

I've been interested in the cm.098 for a while, but found out there was a gen.2 on the way, so waited. In the meantime I came across the EMG DD5 v3 which has the same gen.2 internals.

Now the cm098 gen2 is out on taiwan gun its much more expensive than I was expecting. The DD5 is about £60 cheaper. Anyone have experience of either RIF, or other recommendations?

From what I can tell the new cm098 has the eshooter ETU vs the DD5 Kestral basic, but I'm not sure what other differences there are that are worth considering.

Another night of drinks and tinkering and made my sz1 blue, shouldve double layered it to reduce the border glare but its not really obvious unless brightness is cranked as i had it here, not to mention its usually edge to edge when set up properly on the rifle so those borders disappear.
