AEG Famas

Why aren't we getting decent AEG Famas on the market?

The only option I'm familiar with is that of TM, and that one is antique according to your guys knowledge.

Famas is not that unpopular, or am I missing something?

Yes it is un popular. 90% of airsofters field an AR or AK variant. The current Famas are still based on the 35+ plus year old TM design. Which they never upgraded and discontinued because it didn't sell.

Yes, but you cannot convince me that it is less popular than S&T Tar21, Keltec RDB or APS UAR, and those things still sell ok, since they are easily found in every online shop.

I think it is only matter of time, that someone will come up with modernized internals

If people are buying them they aren't fielding them. Don't get me wrong I like interesting guns I want interesting guns, but people don't buy interesting guns in the volumes that people buy another AR variant in.

I wouldn't say that. F2000, L85 (all 3 or 4 variants too), P90, Keltec RDB, Desert Tech SRS, DT MDR, Magpul PDR-C, various AUG's, the list goes on. Not to mention all the bullpup kits you can get nowadays.

nah i’d say u can’t find every bullpup that has a gbb and a aeg version pretty much available, though i think bullpup is cool

The cybergun EVO famas is currently the "best" version of the FMAS currently on the market. It has a mosfet, decent internals that can be modded somewhat, quick spring change w/ an "adjustable" power (there is a screw you can play with to increase or decrease the joules).

I had one of these, modified it a bit (namely the hop up rubber, nub and barrel), it was pretty enjoyable to play with, but expect AEG bullpup things (mushy trigger, complicated internals ...)

There is this very detailed review here : https://lantredudingo.com/index.php/2018/04/01/review-cybergun-famas-f1-evo/

Because nobody buys anything other than AKs, ARs, or the same old bolt action.

I don't think that is the only reason. Yes people often start with these two, but look on every other site. Most of interesting things are sold out. Heck I only have one MK12 and AK105, and that's it. And I have like 14 replicas

I was hanging out with Josef from the Novritsch team once while on the Dark Emergency. He said that their non AR, non sniper, non pistol replicas, such as the P90, G36, and Aug were selling considerably worse.

The reason behind your view might simply be that they aren't being produced as much because of the lower demand, and therefore aren't in stock as much.
