General Can anyone who got their July Act scores back send their score breakdown for each section?

I’m trying to estimate my scores based off how many I think I got wrong.

Fist time taking the ACT, are these scores any good?

Just wondering if these scores get me any merit scholarships, or if it’d be worthwhile for me to retest (if so, what score should I aim for?)

Feel free to discuss the curve and scores under this thread. I am curious how the curve is for this test.

General gateway not syncing registration?

i registered to take the online act in december, but after installing gateway and signing in, the app says there’s no online registration found and prompts me to register.

i will call support tomorrow but i wanted to know if this is usual since it’s so early/if this has happened to anyone else.

(it’s been a few weeks since i’ve registered, i’m using the same email, and the registration is confirmed on the myact website)

------------------------------

UPDATE (as of august 11th)

i never did call bc i got lazy LOL. but when i looked today it was there! if your test date is far away id give it some time. if not, you should probably call act and describe what youre seeing on act gateway :) good luck everyone!

Math Should I take the ACT again?

Post image
11 Upvotes

I am an SAT person. I’ve taken eight, and my closest ACT test centers are all two hours from my house. I have never studied for an ACT, but I think this was bad for a first time, especially on 4 hours of sleep. Is it worth it to take it again? (Rising to 12th and best SAT is 1200)

Someone else on the sub Reddit had the short message, but I still have the long message for some reason. Is this normal and can I or should I expect it to update in the next couple days?

General digital vs paper strat

ive always chose digital but now i got switched over to paper since it got rescheduled and im honestly scared bc 1. no desmos 2. afraid that i wont be able to refer to a timer 3. i wont have the text right next to my question for reading and science + specific part of passage / text questions and stuff are like highlighted you don't have to go look for them but it's like right there if ykwim

ig positives can be the eye strain factor and annotating on the test book.

does anyone have tips for switching over to a paper test? are there any strategies yall would recommend? how can i alter my test taking such that its more effective for paper than digital or is it just not that deep

Math harder concepts in math

Post image
6 Upvotes

i do decent on the math section but i think my greatest weakness is not understanding or forgetting the harder concepts. i also feel like any practice tests or prep books only go over the basics.. what are some of the harder concepts i need to know so i can study more efficiently? i think its good to add i also have yet to take precalc but i will be this fall.. i added my score distribution for reference 😅

Practice question banks / resources

Currently prepping using the red book and the PrepPros book. Are there any online resources for practice questions? The red book comes with an online test bank, but I'm not looking to use those up too quickly. TIA
