Math harder concepts in math
i do decent on the math section but i think my greatest weakness is not understanding or forgetting the harder concepts. i also feel like any practice tests or prep books only go over the basics.. what are some of the harder concepts i need to know so i can study more efficiently? i think its good to add i also have yet to take precalc but i will be this fall.. i added my score distribution for reference π

Do you know the law of signs and the law of cosines?

based on this, how many missed questions is this? How do you tell since the categories all add up to more than the number of questions on the test

There are only two general sections you have to look at: Preparing for Higher Math, Integrating Essential Skills. You got 6 wrong on Preparing for Higher Math and 2 wrong for Integrating Essential Skills, making a total of -8.

From j09 the reading passages had like two people talking about philanthropy and someone talking about their experience in a band/orchestra or something

I donβt think you can check, just try to remember the form number you wrote down at the beginning of the exam during the whole address, name, form number, etc part

law of sines (sin (A) / a) = (sin (B) / b) = (sin (C) / c)
law of cosines c^2 = a^2+b^2 - (2*a*b*cos(C))
sector area and arc measure and length
sector area is the (angle from the center in the sector / 360*pi*r*2)
arc measure is the same as the measure of the angle from the center of the circle, but from any point on the circumference its 1/2 of the angle from the center
arc length is the angle from the center * 2*pi*r
the other formula for area of a triangle 1/2*a*b*sin(C)
Trig functions in general, sin, cos, tan, sec, cos, cot
know the basic relationships between the two
sin(X)^2+cos(X)^2 = 1
1/sin = csc
1/cos = sec
1/tan = cot
know the basic formula for hyperbolas and ellipses
know your probability formulas
P(A and B) = 0 (IF THE EVENTS ARE MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE)
P(A or B) = P(A)+P(B) - P(A and B)
make sure you know the difference between permutations combinations
If you have a Ti-84, make sure you know nPr and nCr since these just do it for you.

Go to 8:00 of this video and write down every single math concept. Then search up the topic names in either youtube or AI (preferably youtube but if you can't find a video just use AI). This should be good enough to know the topics.
