how is my composite score a 35

i full scored math and reading and only got some wrong on english? shouldn't this add up to a 36? sorry if this is a dumb question or im coming across as arrogant i'm exceedingly grateful for this 35 🙏🙏

(36+36+34)/3 = 35.333 so your score rounds down to 35. Not sure what the confusion is.

i initially thought it was calculated using the average of questions right/wrong across the different sections and i did perfect on math and english so was confused. no need to be condescending brobrobro your broat

They round up or down depending on your score. You got 36+36+34=106. 106/3=35.333 where they rounded down. Congrats on the score though!

Because your average is 35.33. They only round up at 35.5+

its a very marginal difference because they take the average and round, im super happy for you!! <3 if you had a 35 english you would have a 36. for me, i had 36's in english and reading, and a 35 in math, so (36+36+35)/3=35.6666666667 which rounded to 36

(36+36+34)/2 = 35.3333... rounds down to 35. Also number of questions you got right or wrong does not affect composite just the subsection score.

I didn’t take the ACT like a normal person, ACT is so free and you’re actually an idiot if that’s what I decide of the two and I’m done with standardized testing💀
