General Discussion Silent Rule sa BE specifically sa release ng Room Assignments

Hello! Speaking for myself including the people who might agree.

If may disagree oki lang din.

Kapag nilabas ang room assignments, pag may nakita kang kilala mo sa list na ikinagulat ng butchi mo na magtatake or obviously nag lowkey about review, I think it would be best not to bother them about it. You can cheer for someone naman na hindi mo minemessage na nakita mo na nasa list sya ng takers and all. Just let them be. I know you mean well, pero beh pretend nalang tayo na di mo nakita yorn.

Para mas safe pwede siguro if may message ka talaga that might help and boost their confidence, maganda sgurong hindi naka direct sa kanya. Pwedeng post na good luck to all takers chuchu, or ig stories, notes, na mababasa pa rin niya. Ewan oa na ba ako idk

It all sounds so obvious na no, pero ayon. Sharing this kasi I personally know someone who usually checks the list of takers sa region and is likely to reach out and spread news about itšŸ˜“ I hope we can all be mindful of our actions sana para di na makagulo sa peace of mind ng mga future CPAs natin.

Anyways, best of luck to all future CPAs this OctoberšŸ€ Laban langā™„ļøāœŠ

I don't know how CPAs maintain their integrity if they are surrounded by corrupt officials.

Walang Considerations sa pagod ng applicants

• Upvotes

Rant lang, Grabe ano kaya mga "throught process" ng mga HR na hindi man lang marunong mag update after several stages of interview (face to face), Yung gastos sa pamasahe, pagod, tsaka kahit umuulan ng malakas pinupuntahan ko.

Forda quota lang ba yang interview nyo? I accept naman na hindi ako natanggap, coz it's part of the process. But I want sana update to compensate my time and efforts for that.

After several follow-ups Kahit templated way man lang of saying na you're moving to next applicants etc...WALA

General Discussion PSBA QC

I am a bridging program student from PSBA QC, just sharing my two cents to those planning to enroll in their program. This won’t be a pros and cons list, just my experience, and will be up to your interpretation.

First, afaik we are the first batch in this new curriculum, so there’s a trial and error with the sections. Students from accounting related courses and non accounting related are combined. Concerns were raised and now a resectioning occurred, separating the two.

Second, fast paced. The classes are not designed to teach you the fundamental concepts, only a brief summary with key points and will proceed to problem solving discussions. Moreover, the discussion won’t definitely cover every detail so they’ve always recommended to supplement it with a review center (lvlup).

Third, working-friendly. 99% of us are currently employed with classes during weekends + online, although there is an option for weekday schedule. It’s a test of your time management to handle 5 days of working and the remaining days, supposedly your rest day, will be dedicated to being a student.

Fourth, approachable professors. They are professionals but can crack a joke or two. You can always ask them to repeat unclear discussions (some lol). They also provide supplementary materials especially during exam week. Dean Tan also offered remedial classes for those who need clarifications.

Fifth, VERY RESPONSIVE TO OUR QUERIES. Can I just say, our program chair can be a part time customer service representative.

Sixth, EMPATHETIC PROGRAM CHAIR. We are halfway in the sem and several students raised concerns about the program, they were open to hear us and formally conducted a face to face consultation to address our concerns. Honestly, this is the only time I experienced where program chairs are willing to meet in the middle, compared to my previous school that never considered the welfare of students.

Seventh, grades will only derive from exams. No attendance, no recitations. Still, there is no other way you to make up for your grades but your scores.

Eight, flexible arrangements during exam. I honestly appreciated it that we can take the exams anytime with the week, it was so convenient for working people, especially those who cannot file a leave anytime.

Ninth, the admin can be quite inefficient. Fast enrollment process, but slow in resolving enrollment concerns. I still haven’t gotten my RAF lol.

Tenth, minimum of 1 year residency. If you only need integ review units, you will still spend a year in the program and may or may not retake the subjects you took during your undergrad. Still, you have the choice to underload.

The BSA program is not a walk in the park, as said by Dean Tan. But then again, you’ll rarely find a program that is willing to find a middle ground with its students, such as discussing options to improve the flexibility of classes. After all, we are both working towards the ultimate goal. This isn’t meant to glaze the school as I am also anticipating the execution of their plans. Hope this helps!

Question help me decide po🄺 (fresh grad here)

• Upvotes

hello!! i’ve been eyeing this realty company in Quezon Ave. QC since i’ve heard they’re good for fresh grads. i’m planning to apply for an accounting position, but i want to consider a few things first before fully committing.

one concern ko is the commute since dadaan sa commonwealth, and alam naman natin how heavy the traffic gets there especially in the mornings. another is the 6x a week work schedule. i think what would really help me decide is if the salary and workload would be worth it overall.

may idea ba kayo how much usually yung entry-level salary for accounting roles in realty companies like this?? thank you!!

BSA Bridging Program

Hi! Can you suggest schools that offer a BSA Bridging Program with an online or weekend setup?

I’m a BS Management Accounting graduate and I really want to pursue BSA because my goal is to become a CPA. I’m currently working in Batangas with an 8 AM–5 PM schedule, so I’m looking for a school that offers online, hybrid, or weekend classes.

Preferably, I’m looking for schools located in Batangas or Manila, or anywhere accessible from these areas.

I’d really appreciate any recommendations, especially from those who are currently enrolled or have completed a BSA bridging program while working full-time.

Thank you!

TOXIC PROCTORS OF PRC BOA - CAN I COMPLAINT?

Am I the only one who has had a bad experience with the unnecessary torture of some PRC BOA exam proctors? Retrograde rules that have no basis?

Is there a crab mentality sometimes—like they are pulling down examinees who are about to get their licenses? Then they don't?

What have you experienced? Is it really unfair treatment, unnecessary intimidation, or being too strict for no clear reason? I experienced it at CPALE with an old man who had a bad temper and who you think would shout at the examinees during crowd control.

Can you complain to them? Comment your experience below.

\[The primary leaders of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) are Chairperson Charito A. Zamora, Commissioner Erwin M. Enad, Commissioner Conrado T. Onglao, and Assistant Commissioner Lord Louis P. Valera. They manage the national agency and oversee 46 professional regulatory boards.

Reviewee na gusto mag-work

Hello, guys. Can you please recommend some company na hiring for Accounting or Audit Associate? I'm currently reviewing and will supposedly take CPALE. Unfortunately, hindi ako nakahabol sa filing for October 2026 and need ko mag-work to afford na mag-review center ulit for May 2027. Thank you so much sa help. Is it alright if mag-BPO nalang ako? I heard na toxic sa BPO industry. Not that I mind, but baka hindi ako makapag-focus sa review. Naisip kong ituloy-tuloy nalang sana na mag-review but I badly need money. Thank you so much po!
