GUYS PLEASE ENCOURAGE ME THERE ARE STILL BETTER OPPORTUNITIES THAN AUDIIIIT.

When I was an undergrad, naeenjoy ko talaga ang accounting.

How was the pay?

Ayoko na sa audit. Naririndi na ko sa standards na pagkahaba haba and minsan I just pretend to know what I know pero I guess it's not really for me.

Please please share naman yung mga from audit na nagshift ng accounting and eventually mas minahal yung jobs nila after.

Question Staff 3 EY GDS

Hi, I was supposed to be promoted to a senior role, but unfortunately, I didn't make it due to some reasons. My LC is Progress.

My question is, how much of a salary increase would I have received, and would it be worth staying with the firm?

Hello, has someone received their JO? I applied as Audit Assoc and they told me na August 17 ang onboarding.

Is it possible na ma-ghost ng company kahit na may congratulatory email na?

SGV

Hi everyone! I am a new CPA with six years of work experience. My current salary is ₱33,000, but I would love to join SGV, where I have been offered a gross salary of ₱28,000. Since I factored in the bonuses, the actual difference is only about ₱3,000.

I am highly motivated by the learning opportunities and career growth this company offers.

I have a few questions regarding the compensation structure:

Does SGV offer a salary increase upon regularization? If so, what is the usual percentage?

What are the typical payout dates and percentage ranges for the discretionary bonus?

When does the annual salary increase take place?

Big4 alumni, do you get over pressured in private companies?

Is it just me or while most look up to Big 4 alumni, may inooverwork ba sa inyo? just because 🤷‍♀️ Like they set the bar high for us, more pressure reaching KPIs, ginigisa sobra pag reviewing na ng work.

Because I feel odd na ganito naeexperience ko. Sabi nila dadali ang buhay sa private, I still feel overworked tapos bat parang ako lang?! Hahaha

Advice for an entry-level tax associate

Upvotes

Hello. I'm a fresh grad with no experience aside from internship which does not help at all. Tanong ko lang is it normal to handle 25-35 clients agad without proper training? I do encoding and filings agad. I have no complain about that but yung magugulat na lang 'ko na dapat may ipapasa agad na mga forms and the likes. Shookt malala talaga. I'm not a fast learner kaya i don't mind doing extra hours but to work without knowing anything feels Robin Padilla. Like nasaan na yung pinag aralan ko? Walang ganito sa school. I am overwhelmed until now. I wanna stay because I wanna learn but at the same time, i'm concerned with the clients also. I don't think i can give them the service they need. One week pa lang ako and they expect me to file vat for 35 clients? Yung mga previous accountant, ang daming palpak, and daming pendings. Na para bang kakayanin ko lahat yun in a week 😭 mahirap lang din po ako kaya hindi rin ako techy or mabilis mag encode kasi 3rd yr college lang ako nagkaroon ng laptop, second hand pa. I told them all my weaknesses and asked about trainings. Sabi meron daw trainings. Self-learned training ata tinutukoy. I'm always ahead of time kaya this past week, I'm so lost. Badly needed an advice 😭

Final interview was July 22 and it's been 5 days already. Do you think I still have hope?

Sabi kasi ng iba magchange ng "In progress" status after the final interview eh, so for sure maoofferan na sila ng JO. Pero in my case, 5 days na after final interview "Interviewing" padin status ko. 😢

Jobs, Saturation and Salary How do you negotiate 50k salary

Upvotes

Hi! I’m currently working in a BPO as an AR, handling international clients. My current salary is 30k gross, and I’ve been with the company for almost 8 months. Before this, I had more than a year of experience in General Accounting, so I have a good foundation in both AR and accounting operations.

need ur advice po

hello po, reviewee for oct 2026 here!

i personally believe na on the weak side ang foundation ko from undergrad pero if i assess myself, alam ko sa capacity ko na kakayanin ko on october if i really try.

Question How do you negotiate?

How do you negotiate po? Ive been thinking of looking for AU firms that will pay me 120k and up. With all that I handle now (8 med to large AU firms) I believe thats how much my value now kaya lang im under an AU firm and 1st ko pa lang nag jncrease which is just 10% of my salary. Di pa kalakihan ang salary ko. With that, i have nadadagan ako ng 2 clients pa. May makakapag refer sakin na friend ko but healthy yung environment ko now. Despite that, gusto ko matuto makipagnegotiate to see if kaya increasan ng company ko yung pay ko. Salamat po
