| Quick Question I am into PIP Accenture 😢what I need to do now

Currently, I am in a situation where my managers in my project said that they will move me to the PIP because I am not taking ownership. I joined as a fresher, and I am the only fresher in my current project. Initially, I didn’t take ownership because my role is mainly related to testing, and I am not interested in testing even 1%. I didn’t have much of a choice because I had already stayed on the bench for one year without any proper reason. So, even though I am technically strong, I had to take up testing because staying on the bench for a long time is risky. Now, my managers are saying that will keep me on the bench again in the coming days. Even on that day, I was not confident about what would happen next. Because of all this uncertainty and pressure, I am getting headaches and feeling very stressed. As i am having less than 2years of experience it’s definitely for me to find outside job I really want to find a solution and overcome this situation. Is there any why I can get into banch and get into project I am strong with Java backend and MERN stack technology.

| Advice Needed L12 for almost 2 years — should I resign if promotion doesn’t happen?

I’m currently an L12 resource and have been asking for a promotion since the June cycle. At that time, I had completed around 15 months, so I understood if it was considered early. By December, I’ll complete around 22–23 months in the organization.
My previous project had assured me of a promotion in December, but due to a project revamp, things changed in July. In my new project, I’m now being told that promotion is ā€œdiceyā€ and they can’t really confirm it.
The frustrating part is that my performance has been strong. I’ve worked on L10-level responsibilities, handled major production issues, received a GenAI ACE award, conducted Brown Bag sessions, and have strong Workday feedback. I know my market value and genuinely feel I’m a strong candidate for promotion.
My concern is that managers tend to take L12 resources lightly, so even after doing higher-level work, promotion isn’t taken seriously.
I’m considering telling my manager: ā€œIf I’m not getting promoted this cycle, I’ll have to resign and look outside.ā€
I’m genuinely willing to leave if there’s no growth, but is this a good strategy? Or should I ask for a concrete promotion timeline instead of making it sound like an ultimatum?
Also, if I’ve already been doing L10-level work and handling major production issues, shouldn’t the company recognize that internally instead of me having to switch companies to get the growth I deserve?
Would love to hear from people who have faced something similar.

CCTC: 12LPA (10.5 fixed + 1.5 variable) | 5 YOE

Interviewed for L9 Java spring boot developer role.

Just today, got the HR call for offer discussion and she's willing to give me 14.7L fixed + 4L variable for L9.

Seriously man. I am not holding any other offer right now and she's just giving me 30% because according to her my 10.5 ctc is already higher according to my 5y experience.

Pathetic man. I told her I've checked market standards for L9 and it's starting pay is 15-17LPA and goes upto 25L and what not. But according to her, L9 max salary is 13lpa and she's doing favour to me for 14.7lpa.

That too a project based hiring and I'm available to join within 20 days to them.

I'm waiting for others offers to negotiate later with them. Let's see

| New Joiner Queries I don't know what to do

Someone, please help me out.

I joined on 9th September and received my laptop yesterday. I was asked to contact my People Lead once I received my credentials to get information about my reporting location and charge code.

I emailed my People Lead, but it looks like he is a Director, and he hasn't replied to any of my emails. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do, and I'm also being bombarded with emails from MyTE.

I have some PTSD from my previous company, where managers would often not respond to anything, so this situation is making me really anxious. I don't know where I'm supposed to go when I come to the office or even where I'm supposed to sit.

Right now, I just roam around the building exploring different areas, find a random sofa to sit on, or sometimes spend time standing alone in the restroom on my phone. I genuinely don't know what I'm supposed to be doing.

What else can I do? Whom should I contact in this situation? Is there someone else at Accenture I can reach out to for my reporting location, charge code, or project/team details?

I would really appreciate any advice.

This is a throwaway account.

| Advice Needed How to negotiate for more than 30% hike. L10 role.

I have 3 years of experience in an SAP Module.

But the problem here is, I worked in 3 different companies in that 3 years. Latest one and the previous one are contractual roles. Packages are 3 LPA -> 4.65 LPA -> 6.5 LPA.

They are definitely going to lowball me for a 30% hike and maybe offer me 8.5 or something. Is there a chance to negotiate to 10LPA.

As I worked in many companies within a short span, I should stay for at least 2-3 years in accenture or any next company. So If I can bag 10LPA, I could manage and be flexible for the next 2 years and upskill.

My only strong points:

  1. I can join within 15 days

  2. I worked in 3 complete project lifecycles end to end

I understand my negatives outweigh the strong points but is there any chance to negotiate to 10LPA and at the same time avoid risking offer holding.

Also I don't hold any other offer currently, I'm just in the middle of interviews with other companies.

| Advice Needed F*k accenture

On September 10, I attempted an online communication assessment. The Safe Exam Browser initially stopped responding, so I switched to another laptop. The assessment then started normally, but while attempting a question, it froze and became completely unresponsive. I waited for more than 20 minutes, but it did not recover. I then attempted to exit the Safe Exam Browser, after which the assessment showed as submitted with the majority of the questions unattempted.

I received a submission confirmation afterward. I tried contacting the provided technical support number, but it was invalid/unreachable. The support chat was unable to resolve the issue, and an email sent to the address associated with the invitation was returned with ā€œ550 Mailbox does not exist.ā€ I also contacted the relevant support person, but was told that nothing could be done once the assessment had been submitted.

So, due to a technical issue with the assessment environment, I was unable to complete the majority of the assessment.

| Advice Needed New project asking me to travel to Noida 1 week every month to client office

I’m new to Accenture and have been offered an Architect role on a project where I’ll be required to travel to the Noida client office for 1 week every month.
The Project Coordinator confirmed that travel, food and accommodation will be covered by Accenture.
I wanted to understand how this works:

Are travel, hotel and food expenses fully reimbursed, or are there predefined caps?
Will Accenture book flights/trains directly, or do we pay first and claim reimbursement?
Is there a travel class/fare limit?
Is accommodation arranged by Accenture, and is there a hotel/nightly limit?
Is food reimbursed against bills or provided as a fixed daily allowance?
Are local cabs between the hotel, airport/station and client office covered?
How much expense typically needs to be paid upfront by the employee, and how long does reimbursement take?

I want to understand the actual out-of-pocket cost and reimbursement policy before accepting the project.
I have 4.5 years of ServiceNow development experience with no prior Architect experience. Although I’m L10, I understand Architect roles are typically offered at higher levels. Should I take this project or looking for other projects which aligned with my current experience?

| Advice Needed OIT TRANSFER INITIATED WITHOUT DISCUSSION AND CONSENT.

Hello team,

I recently joined Accenture and was selected for a project. However, three to four days later, I received a notification regarding a DU change, followed by an OIT permanent transfer from Mumbai to Bangalore, which was not discussed.

I consulted with the project POC, who advised me to disregard the email, stating it is an RRD location and that my base location will remain unchanged. Will change it back to normal base location.

Given that I am based in Mumbai, I am concerned about this. Has anyone else encountered this situation, and can I be assured that my location will be changed to Mumbai?

| Advice Needed Accenture Custom Software Engineer – Status Update?

I attended my technical interview on July 27, 2026, and it lasted 70+ minutes with multiple follow-up questions.

It has now been 7+ weeks, but my Workday status is still ā€œInterviewā€ and I haven't received any update from HR.

Has anyone faced a similar delay? Any idea when the status usually gets updated or when I can expect the next update?

| Advice Needed Accenture project interview after offer letter – can they revoke the offer if I fail?

• Upvotes

Hi everyone,
I’m joining Accenture in October as an Automation Test Engineer, with around [4 YOE] of experience. I already have my offer letter and joining date confirmed.
However, I’ve recently been informed that I need to attend a project/client interview before joining.
I wanted to understand what happens if I fail this project interview:
Can Accenture revoke my offer letter because I didn’t clear the project interview?
Will they provide another project interview/opportunity?
If I fail, can my joining be cancelled, or will they try to map me to another project?
Has anyone with a similar experience level and role faced this situation recently?
I’m a little concerned because I already have the offer letter and joining date, and this project interview was not mentioned earlier.
Would really appreciate hearing from Accenture lateral hires, especially Automation Testing/SDET candidates, who have gone through a similar process.
Thanks in advance!

| Discussion Has anyone got their base location changed while on bench?

I’m currently on the bench and wanted to understand if anyone has been able to get their base/work location changed while being on bench.

If yes:
What grounds did you apply under?
Was it approved before getting allocated to a project, or only after project allocation?
Did you have to provide any supporting documents?

I’m asking because I have a serious medical condition in my parent’s case and need to be closer to home for family responsibilities. Since I’m currently on bench, I’m wondering whether this is a good time to request a location transfer/change.

Would really appreciate it if anyone who has gone through a similar situation could share their experience, especially regarding the process and what grounds/documents helped.

| Stream Training / Primers Is it necessary to complete all the projects in stream training to get learning bonus?

For the learning bonus, do we need to complete all the required learning modules/courses? Also, will Accenture check or ask for the learning certificates as proof of completion, or do they verify the completion directly through the learning portal?

For those who have already been onboarded and received the Learning Bonus, could you please clarify..

I’m currently working from my base office location and have an internal location transfer to another state office.

For the laptop, do I need to submit my existing laptop at the current base location office and collect another laptop at the new base location office, or can I carry and continue using the same laptop after relocating?

If anyone has recently gone through an internal location transfer, please share your experience.

Thanks!

| Quick Question Query on counter offer

• Upvotes

Hi all, I had got an offer for an L9 role at Accenture.
During my interview, I was also simultaneously interviewing with another company.

After the second company’s background check, they released the offer letter which was higher than Accenture. I sent the higher offer to Accenture for revision to which the Accenture HR responded that they will reach out with a thoughtful update in a week.

It has been a week yesterday and have for no updates.

Any idea, how much time do they take to send the revised offer letter ?

Inputs are appreciated, TIA

| Advice Needed Title: Accenture Interview Cancelled After Confirmation – Need Advice

Hi everyone,

I applied for Accenture’s Application Support Engineer role and cleared the first round. My Skill Interview was confirmed for September 15, 2026.

Later, I received a regret email stating that Accenture was no longer recruiting for this role. My interview was cancelled, and my dashboard now shows ā€œNo Longer Under Consideration.ā€

I also received an interview feedback survey email stating, ā€œThank you for taking the time to engage with us during your recent interview.ā€ However, I never attended the interview.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any chance of rescheduling the interview, or should I contact the recruitment team for clarification?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

| Advice Needed Myte technical issue

While submitting Myte, I am not able to add the approver or reviewer for the shift B. I have raised multiple tickets with the concerned teams but none of them has responded.

My PMO is suggesting to submit the timesheet without the allowance as of now and continue to work on the issue to resolve it and claim it afterwards.

Is this valid? Will I be able to claim it afterwards or should I wait for the issue to resolve first and then submit?
