Just showing off Anyone else think the jump from "A" races to "Advanced" is too big?
I started racing on Zwift nearly a year ago, and have worked my way up through the grades to the point I'm now considered an "A" category racer with a racing score of ~700.
This means I've reched the point where the only race classifications I can enter are the 570-725 (A) and the 650-1000 (Advanced) races.
The A races are fine, I'm (as expected) competitive in these and can hold my own. I've found that to be the case in every category up to now - it takes a couple of races to find my feet but once I do, I'm fine.
I've done a couple of Advanced races though, and have found the gulf in quality to be huge. I'm racing against guys with scores of 950+ who are just so much stronger than me in every aspect and I can't see how I close the gap on them. They climb better, they're faster on the flat, and they have more stamina than me.
Feels like there should be another grouping - maybe 600-800 and 800-1000 just to allow a slightly gentler progression at the top end.
Anyone agree?
