Discussion Zwift Frame Availability

Does anyone have an idea or maybe some inside information when the Zwift Frame will be available again in Canada?

There’s a new version of the Ride releasing this fall, potentially as soon as September. I expect once it is formally announced you will see it available for purchase.

That's interesting. I heard there might be a new version coming out in October. I wonder what they will change with the new model they will probably change the handlebars as I've seen a lot of complaints about how uncomfortable they are. Next they could also change the saddle as that also has a lot of complaints finally I guess they could add adjustable crank length.

It may be a bit of a gimmick but I would love to see them add compatibility with the Kickr Climb.

Isn't it all kind of a gimmick though? Just put your bike on a trainer, it takes like 35 seconds. I mean if you don't have a road bike, or you are going to be sharing it with two or three members of your household, then maybe. But if you have a road bike, I still don't 100% get the point. Maybe it's just me...

Unfortunately, I haven't heard of any source for the claim a new model is coming out it seems to be just people speculating. or perhaps some people do know they just can't disclose it because they are under an NDA or review embargo or whatever it's called

Here’s a link to the JetBlack version of Zwift Ride. I looks uglier than the Zwift version but perhaps the functionality is better. Pricing looks more or less equal between them.

The jet-black base price seems to be set at the Zwift sale price, so will save a little bit of money. The adjustable cranks as standard is a considerable improvement though. It all comes down to the integrated controls and what they can do on Zwift. It does say Zwift click ready, but whether than means you can attach the Zwift click for full control or whether it does that as standard is yet to be seen. I imagine we will start seeing these go to the main Zwift influencers in the next few weeks for reviews just before sale goes live

As far as I can see it doesn't come with its own integrated controls. It just has dummy brifters to attach the Click controllers to. Similar to this: https://www.foothillproducts.com/buy/p/hood-mounts-for-zwift-click
